VENTILATED - There is a breathable polyester inner with mesh door which is designed to keep insects out and manage condensation and improves the indoor climate. Attaching the inner is pretty simple, at the foot end attach two hooks at the bottom then toggles, same with the entry end. The sewn in groundsheet is very sturdy, far more so than my other tents all of which cost a lot more and all of which require an extra groundsheet weighing 300g (ish).

If your first taste of camping is going to be in at the deep end and you are off on a long cycle tour in extreme conditions, then this isn't for you. It's simple to erect, with outer first construction, followed by attaching the inner with toggle/loop and hooks. Not just to see how it goes, but to make sure all parts were shipped and no nasty surprises are waiting for you in the middle of nowhere! Sits perfectly on there and the with the weight being fairly low and distributed well, it doesn't interfere with the balance of the bike.You have thought about camping, but maybe your last experience was a Scouts/Girl Guides weekend away when you were 12 years old!

Yes, it is easy and quickly to put it up possibly because I have a very similar tent for 4 people from the same brand but I really think it will be easy enough for everybody.This post is all about my first tent for cycle touring and why I think this cheap little tent (and many alternatives out there) is a great starting point.
