Still with me? Great! Let’s dive into the new Jabra Evolve2 75 to see what this new wireless headset is all about. What devices does the Jabra Evolve2 75 connect to? The Evolve Series delivers industry-leading professional-grade call performance, but the Evolve2 75 is as best-in-class. With a re-engineered microphone boom-arm that’s 33% shorter than Evolve 75, it delivers the world-leading call performance Jabra headsets are so famous for. Given its popularity, features and professional sound, how can that be improved on? Well, I’m here to say that Jabra did just that. They took a highly popular wireless headset and made it even better. Performance mode refers to the times when you’re on a phone call, or video call and you want optimum sound quality.

Some of the things you can do include updating your firmware, adjusting call settings, personalizing the audio equalizer, getting bug fixes, adjusting the Active Noise Cancellation and HearThrough features, managing a group of headsets from a single point, and more. Discreet mode refers to those times when you’re listening to music, a podcast etc, and you don’t need a boom microphone. Simply raise it up, and it stows out of your way, and out of sight, hence the references to discreet. The Jabra Evolve2 75 isn’t a minor update to the former Evolve 75, it’s a complete overhaul. Included in that overhaul are sound qualities that place it light years ahead of its former self. Jabra Evolve2 65 is engineered to keep you agile. Outstanding call performance with incredible battery life, 40mm speakers for amazing sound quality, and soft memory foam ear cushions for enhanced all-day comfort. Soft memory foam ear cushions. The Jabra Evolve2 75 has ANC, which Jabra refers to as concentration mode. This is just another way of referencing Active Noise Cancellation. If you’ve never used a headset with ANC, you really should try one to see how nice it really is. Honestly, I’d be surprised if the Evolve2 75 didn’t include it as ANC has become a standard feature on premium headsets. HearThrough Why is weight important? If you consider that this is a device that’s worn over the head for many hours a day, it makes sense that you’d want this device to be as lightweight as possible. Enhanced memory foam padding and new angled design cancels 48% more of the noise around you. 1 3-microphone call technology.

Unlike in the past where headsets came with a single microphone, the headsets of today are upping that by incorporating multiple microphones that are designed to provide better audio quality. And I’d say they’re doing a good job at it. That is, how do you feel during that stretch of time, and how do you feel on your way home? Those are the times that you’ll come to appreciate all the engineering that’s gone into the development of a headset. Though you have the option of connecting the Evolve2 75 to a computer that’s Bluetooth enabled, it’s a better option to connect to it via the USB adapter. You’ll get a more steady, reliable connection, and you’ll get longer wireless range too. You may find the audio quality to be better as well. I have found the headset so comfortable and long lasting that I now use it to enjoy music streaming from my phone while working and love that I can then easily switch over to a Teams work call without missing a beat. If you raise the microphone boom arm up, this will automatically mute the microphone, and when you lower it, it will unmute it. This can be used to answer an incoming call as well. Jabra has two names they assign to the microphone boom arm position:I was waiting for the introduction of the Evolve2 75 with great anticipation. I was curious to know what kind of updates it would come with. To say that I’ve been impressed would be putting it lightly. This is a major overhaul from the former Evolve 75 not only in appearance, but in performance and technology. The Jabra Evolve2 75 USB UC Bluetooth Headset is the new standard for Hybrid workers, offering wireless Bluetooth connectivity to PC / Mac and Smartphones and is certified for UC (Google Meet and Zoom). Featuring Jabra’s Active Noise Cancellation technology you can choose from 11 ANC levels to perfectly suit your working environment whilst its fully rechargeable battery provides up to 36 hours battery life and fully charges in just over two hours. For users short on time, a fast charge of 15 minutes provides up to 6 hours battery life. For a long time, the Jabra Evolve 75 has been a fan favorite, and for a lot of very good reasons. The Evolve 75 is feature rich, comfortable, and has that professional sound you’ve come to expect from a Jabra headset. computers, mobile phones and tablets for example, that are Bluetooth enabled. The Evolve2 75 uses Bluetooth 5.2, which at this time is the latest version.

The Evolve2 75 works with computers, and mobile devices. It comes with a Jabra Link 380 Bluetooth adapter for computer USB connectivity, but you can also connect to This is a very practical feature that allows the headset owner to continue using the headset even when recharging. Though a few makes and models of wireless headsets have this ability, it’s more uncommon than common. Nice to see this was an included feature on the Jabra Evolve2 75. Sound - how good does it sound, and how good is it at reducing noise? If you use Microsoft Teams regularly, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a version of this headset that’s designed for Teams. It includes a Teams button that allows you to access Teams immediately. And, for those who aren’t Microsoft Teams power users, there’s a UC variant that will still work with Teams, but better suited for those who spend more time on other Apps. There’s a more visible busy light that has two LEDs on each side. This means that if you care about having professional grade sound when on phone calls or when on a meeting, you simply can’t go wrong if you use an Evolve2 75. When you correlate these items to the weight of the headset, it should help you to envision how much it weighs. Anyone tried these yet? I'm eager to find out how they compare to the Evolve2 85 model (my current daily driver)...
