I purchased the metallic green one because I like the aesthetic and also I can find the case easily in my bag. The fit and having them stay in my ears is more important than battery life tho because I don't mind having to charge them every week but I am hoping the Gen 2 has made improvements with the charging. The case is claimed to be suitable for 100 hours total playback, but we didn’t get anywhere near that. The case is much smaller than the one on the 05 models, and it has a good build quality with my only concern over time being the rather flimsy feeling hinge mechanism.
