I'm a fan of this travel-sized drawing toy, as it easily fits in my purse and keeps my young grandson entertained during important events. Both my 16-month-old and 3-year-old enjoy drawing on it, and it has kept them entertained for hours during road trips.

Magna Doodle is a magnetic drawing toy, consisting of a drawing board, a magnetic stylus, and a few magnet shapes. Besides an attached pen and two stamps, there's a handle and eight stencils, but the coolest part is that the gadget doubles as a battery-operated mini computer (two AA demo batteries are included, but you'll eventually need to replace them). However, I noticed that the colors are not separated as shown, and the magnets can be a bit hard to see and blurry. Now, if you move the magnetic pen along the display, the magnet on the pen pulls the tiny particles away from the back side to the front side, forming a line. Sometimes you could make out what was scribbled on the back of their kitchen door, other times you couldn't?Different drawings and writings appeared on it in each episode, and some served as inside jokes for the cast. Using a handful of idea cards that come with it (or their own imagination), your little one can take the standalone pen to pull the hundreds of metal beads to the surface to create images and then erase them by pushing the beads back down with their fingers.

When your child is younger, you can extend the legs and use the board in its table form, making it an ideal option for use while sitting on the floor. With so many neat drawing boards to consider, the first thing to think about is how you intend for your child to use it.

Ohio Art, in turn, eventually dropped the license as well, later producing the similar Doodle Sketch until 2016 when it sold that brand along with Etch A Sketch to Spin Master.
