There are NO new extras on this release, however, most all the previous bonus features have been ported over with the exception of a few. I know some fans were not happy with the way the final season went (I was not one of them, as I thought it was a masterpiece as usual), but Thrones in 4K is still a fantastic purchase—just try to go into it with an open mind and at least enjoy the scenes and episodes you loved. Use the thumbs up and thumbs down icons to agree or disagree that the title is similar to Game of Thrones.

Available subtitles include English SDH, French, Spanish, Castilian Spanish, German, Italian (for the hearing impaired), Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Croatian, Greek, Hebrew, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovenian, Turkish, Chinese, Korean, and Thai. Now, you can see every stitch in Cersei’s gowns, or every scale on Daenerys’ dragons, and the show actually paid enough attention to detail for that to matter. First of all, the actual physical look of the box, with a screeching Drogon on the front and gold text and accents, looks awesome.

Finally, Season Eight was available on Blu-ray at Target and Walmart with exclusive bonus discs that added How the Storm Was Born and From Renderings to Reality: The Visual Effects of Season 8 respectively. The big epic war scenes have an incredible amount of noise from all speakers that completely immerses the viewer with tons of sword clanks, arrows flying by, yells, screams, and more that have exceptional directionality. The higher resolution and detail captured in the 4K format (with HDR) is very clearly on another level to what we watched for eight seasons (sometimes compressed via cable, decreasing the quality for people at home).

Game of Thrones: The Complete Series | 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray

Home Entertainment has a big slate, with 4K upgrades not just for both James McTeigue's V for Vendetta, but also for the complete series of HBO's Game of Thrones. Flashes of yellow hay and occasionally red or blonde hair contrast nicely with the steely cold look of the area. We were thinking on hunting for the BD Steelbook editions, but since we were planning on switching to 4K for some time now, therefore we chose to wait for a full set of the 4K edition. For items that are dispatched using our standard service, we ask that you wait 14 days from the date of dispatch before reporting any items as undelivered. The discs are separated across nine hard-black plastic cases with an average of four discs per case - depending on the season. Products labelled '*item fulfilled by Exertis on behalf of hmv' will be supplied to you directly by Exertis via their approved couriers. For Season One the captured image was recorded on HDCAM SR videotape using a tape-based workflow, with color correction done on set.

It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; and all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. There's yet another new Complete Series Set available for one of the best shows on tv - Game Of Thrones. For gorehounds, the crunching of bones, slices of flesh, and gooey entrail explosions all pack a great amount of squish and goop to remarkable effect. As someone else commented below, it looks like they are not making it available in 4K digitally at the moment.

Also, it says on the box that there are just 7,600 of them (which was not mentioned anywhere from what I saw from Warner Bros. For Seasons Two and Three, the production went tapeless, recording that same image data via Codex and datapacks. This set is a great way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of series premiere (especially with a glass the Game of Thrones single malt whisky).

Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection [4K UHD]

The image is improved, the sound is improved, and this is the most complete and comprehensive collection of extras to date. and I'd say that while things are better in seasons two and three, they're not quite at the lustrous levels seen throughout the later seasons). Game of Thrones: Reunion Special: A two-part reunion show shot live in Belfast with the cast, both past and present, hosted by Conan O’Brien and available exclusively on these complete series collections. The wider shots both practical and computer-generated are incredible from gigantic castles and thrones to small bursts of battles with big armies running in all directions. The point is that some ten years ago, the video technology wasn't as advanced and clear as it is today so as each season progresses, the detail and the color get a bit better with of course season seven and eight being the stand-outs of the series. The collection itself comes in a tin box which looks in line with the GOT theme and makes sure the steelbooks themself are well protected.
