It's a pretty convoluted opening, be sure -- enough that you may have just skimmed the last paragraph, and I wouldn't blame you -- but at least The movie has a lot going for it, but it also has more than its major share of mess ups too. The action is fun, and the pacing pretty good for a 2+ hour movie, but it’s aldis Hodge and Pierce Brosnan that are the real draw of the movie. Aldis is on point for the overly serious Hawkman, and Pierce Brosnan needs to be charged with a crime as he literally stole every scene he is in as Dr. Fate. Seriously, he is by FAR the best done character of the whole movie and by a rather large margin, proving the guy can really act when he wants to.
