Young Guns II is a 1990 western film, and the sequel to Young Guns (1988). It stars Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christian Slater, and features William Petersen as Pat Garrett. It was written and produced by John Fusco and directed by Geoff Murphy. This is the sequel, of course, to the latter film, and it just might be the finest Billy the Kid film out there. True, some of the dialogue is shoddy ("I guess you don't know the true meaning of the word PALS!"), but that's not the point. The point is, this is the only film of all of them to really capture the spirit of Billy the Kid. There has always been a thin line in between characters such as the Kid, between legend and fact. Of course, this film reflects mostly on the legends, and it takes the attitude that in the midst of all the legend and stories that were told about Billy and his gang of cohorts, there was a very real, very human leader who allowed all the legends about him to get to his head. As a result, he must suffer the consequences. The album mainly focuses on the theme of redemption and whether an individual's past wrongs will catch up with them. Another theme on the album is about making a stand and making yourself heard in the world. Jon Bon Jovi said on the 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong DVD that he originally thought the album's aggression and themes dealt with Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett from Young Guns II but has come to realize that they reflect the bad place he was in at the time. The album more or less transitioned Jon's songwriting from mostly girls and having a good time to other subject matters, which would lead into him and his band's further maturing in songwriting with 1992's Keep the Faith.

I personally wouldn't recommend this book. A few of the recipes that I tried needed tweaking with quantities of ingredients and also the cooking times seemed to be way out and needed a lot longer than it stated. It has some lovely recipes in it, but, for a mum with a busy home, having to re-think some recipes isn't ideal for me. I like to be able to follow things as it states and not have to tweak to suit. I did like how the recipes seemed different to a lot of weaning books that are available. It also has some very good recipes and the ingredients are easy to find in your local supermarket.

Put the porridge oats and coconut milk into a small pan. Put the pan on a gentle heat and stir continuously as the milk warms. After seven or eight minutes, the oats will be soft and creamy. Just before serving, add the raspberries and stir. Pink porridge! Baby green curry
