Having read Callihan’s pair, which I also enjoyed very much, it was fun to see Drew Baylor’s name pop up as a crossover in this book! I agree with those who find similarities in the two authors’ writing as well. (One very specific similarity was a particular kind of sexual experiment, one that doesn’t seem common in m/f romance…) I really enjoyed this...just not as much as The Deal...which is odd as I truly enjoyed both Logan and Grace just as much - if not more - than Garrett and Hannah. Although I like the first book much better, this book is still a very fun and enjoyable read. Since The Deal, I already found Logan's character interesting so I decided to really read it ASAP because I feel like I'll be missing a lot if I won't. And wow, I really loved it! The story was typical college romance but it didn't feel like a cliché to me. It's because the story is just written so good! The main characters are also the cutest thing ever! Logan and Grace made me fall in love with their romantic interactions and steamy encounters. The chemistry was undeniable and the relationship development amazed me. There was also no insta-love and no cheating involved, and the spark was already visible the moment they collided. Earlier this year I had the extreme pleasure of reading The Deal by Elle Kennedy ( https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...). I blatantly stated my admiration of how she took a genre, New Adult, and made it work for someone who usually doesn't gravitate to it. I went on to talk about how she used all of her talents to make her characters not whine or manipulate to get what they wanted and just "manned up" time and time again. I was so happy about this book I begged all of my friends and anyone who would listen to read it. So yeah, it’s better if I simply smile and nod and toss out the occasional “oh really?” so they know I’m not a mute. Except sometimes that’s not possible, especially when the cute guy in question says something that requires an actual answer.

In the end, I liked the second Off Campus book just as much as the first. Logan is all kinds of swoony - not to mention the King of Groveling – and the overly chatty, neat freak Grace reminds me a bit of myself. Factor in Kennedy’s signature low angst storyline, witty dialogue, and great secondary characters, and The Mistake was a real Barn Burner.Grace is happy with Logan; she decides she wants to be WITH him...and when all of it comes together...Logan fumbles...he says and does somethings that cause pain for both...It only takes a moment and conversation with a good friend to figure out he effed up big time. Grace is important to him and he wants to fix it... he needs to fix it... If you found our recaps useful, please consider leaving a tip! Donations will help pay for our domain and hosting. The two meet by chance one night and become fast friends. Logan is looking for a distraction to take his mind off of his best friend's girlfriend that he's been secretly pining over. Before he knows it, his feelings for Grace have completely superseded whatever misplaced feelings he attached to his best friend's girlfriend. she was ranked 1st place for her work in Where the Magic Begins, a short contemporary for “Dance of Seduction”

Because during those years... so many things can happen...The pressure of new people and the baggage they bring... the feeling of finding your way in a big ocean after being in the small high school pond. Understanding your bodies and all of the urges which can cloud your judgment without the buffers or safety net of restrictions by the parental figures in your lives...These are things that can just be the tip of the iceberg in maturing...and they are touched on in this story.Another winner from Elle Kennedy for me! She definitely knows how to deliver a well written, sexy and sweet new adult romance that's low on the angst and high on the humor with a dash of touching moments. Yes, definitely recommended if you're looking for a light easy read. Oh, come on. Is this about all the shit we’re giving you about the beard?” Exasperation shoots through me. “Because that’s like the first chapter of Beards for Dummies, bro—if you grow a mountain man beard, your friends will make fun of you. End of chapter.” I loved their relationship. They were a very good match. Not only were they hot for each other but also talked to each other. They knew about their hobbies, their plans, their future, their dreams, there was simply connection there, and not only on the basic, carnal level.

The other thing I loved was the sex is not porn perfect... it is kids being who they are and all of the doubt and hang-ups of it all. And the moments when Logan figures it all out... swoon-worthy. she was ranked 1st place in the Golden Rose short contemporary category for her amazing work in the book: “Angel of Seduction” You know what I love? A sexy bad boy. Know what I love even more? A good grovel. What else? A sassy and sharp witted heroine that makes the sexy bad boy work for it. So this book? My golden trifecta. Logan and Grace’s relationship wasn’t easy in the beginning, but I loved that all the pesky relationship drama was over with sooner rather than later. It’s a relief not to have all that happening right at the end of the book! Logan is one of those characters that I connected to immediately. He had so much depth and was willing to sacrifice so much for family and for those that he loved. He was completely devoted and a stand up guy. There were times in the first half that Grace irked me, but overall she was a great character too. I kind of love that she didn’t give in to Logan so easily. I also loved that she was supportive of him and what he felt he needed to do with his life after college. Grace keeps saying she has "minor OCD" because she likes to clean. I know this is a super minor thing, but it's a huge pet peeve of mine (as someone with OCD who is severely impacted by it). If it was just said once, I could ignore it, but it was brought up again and again by different characters. Also, Grace wants to be a therapist- she's a psych major! She should know the difference. The Mistake: A Novel” is one the best and most entertaining novels with a very unique and impressive story. Elle Kennedy is the author of this fantastic novel. Elle is the author of many beautiful novels. Her most famous novels are The Play, The Chase, The Score, The Risk, The Goal, Good Boy and many fantastic novels. Any issues with the book list you are seeing? Or is there an author or series we don’t have? Let me know! Logan and Grace start to date but then Logan sort of admits that he is trying to get over someone else and is using Grace to do so. Grace becomes really upset and the two of them break up. Grace was a very head strong heroine and she didn't put up with any of Logan's crap. After he F's up royally with her, she makes him suffer for quite a while. I thought she kind of was a little too harsh with him and not quite enough with her supposed best friend, Ramona. I started my freshman year of college as a virgin. I’m beginning to think I’ll be ending it as one too.”
