Excited about crafting again. Bought this to help see projects better, now I'm in my mid 50s and need mild reading glasses to read. The magnifier is my only quibble -- it's good but doesn't seem incredibly in focus somehow (but maybe that's my eyes -- I only wear glasses for distance and leave them off at my desk, but maybe there's something there that makes it a bit out of focus.

I don’t really remember exactly the time it took me to put it together, but that’s a good thing! If I don’t remember, it means it was smooth enough. I also love its flexible head, you can literally move it in any position you can imagine and I do that all the time as I like stitching in all sorts of places around the house. Not only the stitching got easier and I could work on my projects at any time during the day, but the quality of my work hugely improved. The end embroidery pieces are much neater, without really improving my skills, it was all about the light and being able to see the fine stitches better!
