The note of chocolate is a beautiful gourmand note that can add a lot of depth to a fragrance. As you might have guessed, the note of chocolate smells rich and sweet, making it work perfectly with a gourmand creation. Coffee and Chocolate is almost not sweet at all. It is as sweet as the natural aromas of cocoa beans and labdanum naturally are, no more. Scent: Montblanc Femme De Montblanc is a fantastic fragrance with a sweet scent of fruits and chocolate. Immediately from the opening, you can smell a beautiful scent of fruity notes, supported by some light spices and chocolate. These all come together to create a rather soft and almost clean scent. A little while after the opening, some floral notes are added, as well as a scent of musk. These, once again, give off a clean feel. Nearing the dry down, you’re mainly left with a soft and clean scent of fruits and chocolate. Best for: Comptoir Sud Pacifique Amour De Cacao is a fantastic fragrance to wear during the colder months. Here, you can easily wear this one casually throughout the day or night, but due to the softness, you can also wear it formally as well. The softness of this fragrance is what makes it so versatile, as it allows it to be worn pretty much all the time. In short, there’s really no going wrong with this lovely chocolate-based fragrance. 4. Al-Rehab Choco Musk

Choco Musk is one of the standouts of the Al Rehab line, and frankly, if you are a fan of milky cocoa-vanillas, then you can’t afford not to have at least a small rollerball of this in your collection. And yet, if the chocolate is real, it smells so fantastic that its taste cannot give me as much pleasure as I get from its aroma.It is even harder to get a hold of the luxurious Durrat Al Arabia by Arabian Oud, but the lovers of chocolate should try and test at least two of the three fragrances in this series. Xocoatl is definitely a trail/sillage kind of fragrance which fills the entire space around it; it can be felt from a distance and yet it is not obtrusive. It seems as if it has come from a different era. There were no fragrances like that in the past, though. Another place, maybe? That sounds more like it. I can easily imagine some place like the equivalent of Diagon Alley, only this time in modern Buenos Aires; a place where conventional reality gives way to magic and where they also have a Fueguia 1833 boutique, albeit run by wizards pretending to pass for 'muggle' perfumers. Notes: The top notes of Mancera Choco Violet are hazelnut, bergamot, and orange. The middle notes are violet and dark chocolate. The base notes are white musk and vanilla. Scent: Mancera Choco Violet is an interesting fragrance with a slightly powdery scent of chocolate. This fragrance opens with a slightly fresh and citrusy scent of chocolate, creating a light gourmand scent. Shortly after the opening, a beautiful undertone of violet makes itself known, giving the fragrance a powdery undertone. This gives an interesting effect to the initial scent of chocolate, making it stand apart from most other chocolate fragrances. Nearing the dry down, a sweet hint of vanilla and what appears to be a nutty scent makes itself known, leaving you with an overall gorgeous and interesting fragrance.

Choco Musk - Basenotes

Finally, given its price-point, this is a no-brainer for fans of gourmand. Not only does it smell delicious and works very well solo - it's perfect for layering with other scents like woody/spicy, vanillic, rose, coffee, tobacco, leather/suede, etc.Durrat Al Arabia is chocolate with amber, and brings to mind the way it used to be savored in Spain a long time ago, when chocolate was a marvel from the New World, a precious and bitter potion that provokes carnal passion. I thought it was about time I leave a review for this little beauty. I have the 6ml oil. I usually wait until the end of my review to talk about preformance but I think it needs to be said up front that this is a powerhouse BEAST of a scent. With one or two (if I'm feeling daring) drops to the wrist- I literally just tap the ball once onto my skin- this scent will fill a room. It will last for hours, until I rub or scrub it all off of my wrist. If I put it behind my ears or hair, it will last until the next day. It never loses it's strength and for an oil it has better preformance than over 90% of other perfumes I've tested in the eau de parfum concentration. This fragrance is experienced as a taste and a texture; first, you get the dark chocolate powder on the tip of your tongue, just for a mere second, then the truffle unfolds in its buttery softness and all the facets of its chocolate taste. This deep and velvety fragrance is gradually augmented by the aroma of resins, with a light touch of smoke and a pinch of salt. Afterwards, amber mixes in with the chocolate note… It is also a rose bouquet: We've got the brightly pink Soul and the pale pink Herzogin Christiana varieties here, both noble and intensely fragrant.
