I've used this product once so far while horse riding and can't fault it. Easy to attach phone and use while riding. Will have to test it out jumping but I only bought it for trekking. It's not a good idea to drink your fluids all at once, though, as over-hydrating is bad for your health and your body will most likely reject most of the liquid instead of using it to hydrate you. For example, if you'd lose one litre of fluid during a 60-minute run, you should aim to drink around 250ml every 15 minutes to keep optimally hydrated. I bought it so I can film POV videos exile using my hands. It is great that it had both a phone and GoPro adapter.

For many, running is one of the most convenient ways to keep fit. All you need is some suitable clothing and a good pair of running shoes – and you’re good to go. However, the best phone holders for running will also provide you with somewhere to safely store your mobile, and perhaps even some other valuables, while you’re on the go. They can get in the way – as running belts are larger and you'll likely be carrying more items in them, they can prove more cumbersome, especially if you're sprinting or running on inclines. Like arm holders, they don’t hold much else though – keys and a gel or two is about the limit.

Best Running Armbands And Phone Holders - Which? Best Running Armbands And Phone Holders - Which?

If the weather isn't too hot and your run is less than 30 to 45 minutes, you probably don't need to carry water provided you're well hydrated ahead of your run. There are limits on what you can carry – your arm can only fit so much, so if you're keen to take extra items like water bottles or energy gels you'll find armbands limiting. As mentioned in our buying guide, a running belt can be a comfortable alternative to an armband, as it shifts weight evenly towards the core and reduces bouncing when you move. It’s the traditional format used by joggers but there are some alternatives that could provide an even more convenient option for hardcore runners. Our tester found that although it fitted well with no bounce while running, the horizontal design meant it felt tighter across their ribs than other chest phone holders.
