If the Display Port Data Rate is HBR2 then the maximum resolution that Linux supports is 8192 x 8192 (counted with integrated display plus external display). If only one monitor is shown, while the other is not, go to Windows Display Properties, and under Multiple Displays, select the output for the second monitor. Open the Windows Display Properties and go to Multiple Displays control to set the display to the extended mode. NOTES: Linux operating system is unable to physically turn off integrated display. The external display numbers are one less than the display numbers listed in the above tables.
