This is my personal favorite from these looks. In real life it looked more purple, but somehow it photographed very pinky. During the 14 month period between The Secret World of Jeffree Star and The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star, Shane and Jeffree were working behind the scenes creating what would be called The Conspiracy Collection. Conspiracy Palette is an 18 shade eye shadow palette made by YouTubers Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson. The collaboration stems from Shane Dawson's budding interest in the makeup world which then led to a documentary series called The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star. The series follows Dawson and Star as they create a conspiracy inspired makeup line to be release by Morphe and Jeffree Star Cosmetics. Due to the series popularity the millions of the palettes sold within the first five minutes on November 1st, 2019. History On November 10, 2019, Star released a video announcing the collection had broken several records. Six days after the collection's launch, over one million eye shadow palettes had been sold. [4] Star also said the launch was the biggest e-commerce launch in the history of the internet. [4]

While the main focus of the series was The Conspiracy Collection, many criticized Shane for not including his reaction to past controversies that were teased in the trailer. Shane, despite his hesitance, decided to include it in the finale, “The Beautiful World of Shane Dawson”. a b Contreras, Cydney (September 24, 2019). However, many have refused to accept his apology. In fact both Jada and Jaden Smith have spoken out publicly against Shane after one of his old videos showed him pretending to masturbate to a poster of Willow Smith, who was a minor at the time. Before the collaboration between Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson, Shane filmed a documentary series called The Secret Word of Jeffree Star. In this series, Shane meets Jeffree Star for the first time and explores the life that Jeffree lives as a makeup artist, internet celebrity, and entrepreneur.Just a Theory: A phrase that Shane frequently says in his popular conspiracy theory videos. In an article about Star, Scaachi Koul of BuzzFeed News stated the producers "used [the series] as an opportunity to promote a new 'Conspiracy Collection' makeup collaboration to their vast combined audience". Koul hailed the collection for being "a resounding, almost preposterous success". Commentators criticized the first six episodes; most fans thought that the series should focus less on The Conspiracy Collection and more on the arguments shown in the trailer for the series. Alex Casey and Jihee Junn, writing for The Spinoff, criticized the series for focusing too much on Jeffree Star Cosmetics rather than the makeup industry as a whole, and also criticized the series' cinematography for being disorienting. They considered it "the smartest advertising campaign of the influencer age" and praised the series for covering the business of the makeup world in detail. Casey added, "I have never seen anything that better untangles, re-tangles and then sets on fire the... rat king of money, power, influence and eyeshadow at this particular point in time in the hell world, whether they are doing it consciously or not".
