I thought it was going to but just a fun read to finish the Halloween season but it was so much more than that! At first I thought I wasn’t going to like it because there were a few moments of immaturity within the dialog but that fortunately didn’t carry throughout the book. After nearly a decade of possessing humans to survive, Mara is looking for answers and she won’t stop until she has the full picture. Despite her paranoia, she manages the loyalty of three very attractive demons. Whether she’ll use this army for war or for her own personal pleasure is yet to be seen.
