The arm rests deserve a special mention. Not only do they rotate on the primary pivot, they can rotate on an additional pivot in front of that. This allows them to move in (towards your body) or further away from it, and also to have the rests point inwards or outwards. The latter movement is useful as the firmness can make for sore elbows after extended periods, but twisting them outwards alleviates this problem. Laura trained as a solicitor at Allen & Overy LLP, in the London and Paris offices. She qualified as an associate in the Corporate department and left in 2009, joining the Civil Appeals Office later that year. At the Civil Appeals Office Laura was a case lawyer, working on a range of applications and appeals. She developed expertise in managing permission to appeal applications, grouping appeals and spotting trends in litigation. She advised her supervising Lord and Lady Justices in all aspects of active case management and listing.

ErgoTune Supreme V3 review: Price and availability ErgoTune Supreme V3 review: Price and availability Robert John Reed, Lord Reed of Allermuir took up appointment as President of the Supreme Court on 13 January 2020, succeeding Lady Hale of Richmond. Upon this appointment, Lord Reed became a life peer.Lady Simler was called to the Bar by Inner Temple in 1987, having read law at Cambridge University, and completed a post-graduate diploma in EU law at the Europa Institute, University of Amsterdam. She practised at the Bar at Devereux Chambers where she became Head of Chambers before becoming a judge. She was appointed to the Attorney General's Civil Panel A in 2001 and as Junior Counsel to the Inland Revenue (Common Law) in 2002. She took silk in 2006.

Having started life in Singapore, the ErgoTune Supreme V3 arrived in Australia in 2021 and then made its way to the US market early in 2023. Lord Stephens was educated at Manchester University. He was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 1977, the Bar of England and Wales in July 1978 and to the Bar of Ireland in 1996. He joined the Supreme Court in April 2023 from a bank in the City, where he served as the Head of IT and led the bank's digital transformation. Pejman is a certified CISO and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and master's degree in Information System Management. Personally, I loved it, as it prevented me from slouching, which is something I always find myself doing in most other chairs. That said, some may find the Supreme V3's lumbar support a little too unforgiving. Thankfully, the lumbar section has its own rotating bar controls which let you loosen its tension somewhat. ErgoTune Supreme V3 review: VerdictSir David was appointed as a Lord Justice of Appeal and made a Privy Counsellor in 2015. He retired as a Lord Justice of Appeal, after reaching the then mandatory retirement age of 70, in June 2021. Thereafter, he practised as an arbitrator and legal expert, as well as continuing to sit in the Court of Appeal as a retired Judge on a part time basis. He also sat in appeals to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. The role involves responsibility for all the non-judicial functions of the Court and overseeing the administration of a team of approximately 50 staff and contractors supporting the work of the Justices. The Chief Executive is an Accounting Officer in their own right.

He was appointed as a High Court Judge in Northern Ireland in 2007. He was assigned to the Family Division from 2008 and to the Queen's Bench Division from 2014. In addition, he is responsible for powering the Supreme Court Justices and colleagues and the digital ecosystem that connects the Supreme Court to people as a world-leading court. Sam was previously Deputy Director of Governance and Assurance for HM Courts and Tribunals Service where she led the creation of a joined up, transparent and consistent governance and assurance function supporting delivery of the work of the courts, tribunals and offices, as well as enhancing the strategic assurance for the Agency as a whole. Prior to that Sam was Board Secretary and Head of the Chief Executive's Office, again within HM Courts and Tribunals Service (2013 - 2016). Ultimately, comfort is a relative thing. Sitting in a beanbag all day might seem comfortable until you get up. I’ve sat in enough dodgy, office chairs to respect that the ErgoTune Supreme V3 doles out some tough love, in that you can sit in it all day and get up and happily move around afterwards… in comfort! Not many other chairs (especially at this price) allow that. Nonetheless, the mesh ensures that you are kept cool and breathable all day – which is important in hot and humid climes. It’s also more hygienic over time due to the ‘pass-through ability’ concerning bodily emissions. In this sense, it’s very different to the epic (in terms of both comfort and price) Logitech x Herman Miller Embody chair, but only slightly different to its sibling Aeron, which is softer and a bit more comfortable but doesn’t have nearly as good posture support. The seat itself is identical across each model, with height determined by the pneumatic stem that's included in the box (that's the compressed air-powered pole between the seat and base). Biographies of the Justices Lord Reed President of the Supreme Court, The Right Hon The Lord Reed of Allermuir Celia trained as a solicitor in Cambridge and moved to London firm Goodman Ray LLP upon qualification, where she practised family law for 7 years and became an accredited Children Panel specialist. She subsequently worked as a solicitor advocate for a joint Local Authority Children's Services legal team before joining the Civil Appeals Office in 2015 as a case lawyer. At the Court of Appeal Celia worked closely with supervising Lord and Lady Justices to manage permission to appeal applications and appeals, with a particular focus on family law and immigration. In 2018 Celia became a Senior Legal Manager in the Administrative Court, responsible for supervising a team of lawyers who assist High Court Judges to case manage Judicial Review applications, exercise powers delegated by the President of the King's Bench Division and monitor trends in litigation. Celia was appointed Registrar of the Supreme Court in April 2023, a role that she job-shares with Laura Angus. He was Hague Convention Liaison judge for international cases involving child abduction between 2008 and 2014 and also served as Chairman of the Council of Law Reporting for Northern Ireland.

It might hurt for a while, but once you realise how well it's supporting your body, you'll stop complaining. He served as a senior judge in Scotland for 13 years. From 2008 to 2012 a member of the Inner House of the Court of Session, and from 1998 to 2008 a member of the Outer House of the Court of Session, where he was the Principal Commercial Judge. With a plethora of adjustments to choose from and suitable for people of different heights, this chair scores well. ErgoTune claims this is a chair to relax in – largely due to the recline mode – but this is where I struggled most. The recline feature was just too loose for my long, heavy body. However, this won’t be an issue for smaller, lighter people.A Welsh speaker, Lord Lloyd-Jones was appointed to the High Court in 2005. From 2008 to 2011 he served as a Presiding Judge on the Wales Circuit and Chair of the Lord Chancellor's Standing Committee on the Welsh Language. In 2012 he was appointed a Lord Justice of Appeal and from 2012 to 2015 he was Chairman of the Law Commission. He was appointed as the inaugural President of the Law Council of Wales in October 2021. Of course, your overall comfort level with the Supreme V3 will surely be determined by your tolerance for its lumbar support, which does force you to sit upright with perfect posture. David Lloyd Jones, The Right Hon Lord Lloyd-Jones, was born and brought up in Pontypridd, Glamorgan where his father was a schoolteacher. He attended Pontypridd Boys' Grammar School and Downing College, Cambridge. He was a Fellow of Downing College from 1975 to 1991. At the Bar his practice included international law, EU law and public law. He was amicus curiae (advocate to the court) in the Pinochet litigation before the House of Lords.
