If a vibrant, hot pink blush is what you’re looking for, this is undoubtedly the one for you. At first, I was super intimidated by the level of pigmentation, fearing that it would be too overwhelming on my light skin tone. But, I was wrong—a subtle tap of the creamy formula blended across my cheeks instantly awakens my complexion while remaining pretty wearable. I also love that because the color is rich and the pigmentation is stellar, most if not all skin tones could get great use out of this blush. Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow in Colour of Passion is a multi-purpose cream blush and lip tint that looks gorgeous on tan skin. The flexible cream colour is a passionate pink with warm, summery tones that give the cheeks a love-blushed look. The Pillow Talk-inspired shade has a glowing, dewy-looking finish and gives a chiffon-sheer kiss of colour that dreamily complements a tan complexion. My favorite pink blush of all time is the Make Beauty Heat Stroke Dewy Gel Cheek Tint in Stimulated. It has a weightless texture, excellent blendability, and it leaves the cheeks with a dewy, pink flush. If you prefer a powder formula, I highly recommend the EM Cosmetics Heaven's Glow Radiant Veil Blush in Venetian Rose. And if you’re looking to grab something from the drugstore, go for the Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink. Other Options I Tested Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush in Crush On Cupid

Charlotte’s Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow is a flexible, cream lip and cheek tint for a dewy-looking flush. Colour of Passion, a radiant berry-pink, is a perfect blush shade for deep skin, calling on the beautifying powers of Pillow Talk to give the lips and cheeks the dreamiest berry hue. The rich, warm tones give deeper complexions a romantic glow, with the pigment sheering out to form a soft, flattering kiss of colour. Blush can be easily over-applied on a lighter skin tone, so it’s important to choose the best blush shades for fair skin to avoid an overpowering flush. While deeper blush colours can work on fair skin when applied with a light hand, Charlotte recommends choosing sweet pinks that give the cheeks a dreamy wash of colour that beautifully complements a paler complexion. Makeup artist Carissa Ferreri previously told Allure that she recommends using a cream blush (or gel) formula in rosy tones. "Focus the blush a bit higher on the cheeks, like right under the eyes, and then diffuse any harsh lines," she explained. Makeup artist Joseph Carrillo also suggests "smiling and applying the color in the center of the apples" before gently fading the edges. This fuschia, watermelon color is one of the members of Too Faced’s newest blush line, and it’s the first ever blush from the brand that I’ve fallen hard for. The color is stunning and so flattering on skin tones with varying levels of depth, and I love that it’s punchy and cool-toned while remaining wearable. As for the formula, it feels like a hybrid between a satin and a matte powder, making it smooth, blendable, and non-powdery on the cheeks. People with fair and light skin will absolutely want to start with a very light hand and build it up slowly, but because it’s so pigmented, it’s also a great choice for those with deep and dark skin. Once applied, it looks seamless and it lasts nicely throughout the day. Medium skin tones are flexible with in-between tones, so the best blush colour for medium skin can lean a little softer or brighter depending on your preference. Explore juicy peach tones to create a warm glow or nude-leaning pinks for a more reserved blush look and discover the perfect blush shade for your medium skin. If you keep up with popular beauty products, then chances are I don’t need to introduce this best-selling, viral blush from Dior. The brand markets it as a customizable blush that reacts to the skin’s moisture level to create a flattering rosy flush. While I can’t confirm or deny that technology, I can say that it’s a beautiful baby pink blush. Though incredibly fair in the pan, it does have nice color payoff—it works to create a romantic rosy color on my skin, and I do have friends with medium skin tones that adore this color, too. Given the nature of the color, the powder formula, and the level of pigmentation, I can’t see it doing much for people with deep and dark skin tones, which is unfortunate. I would love to see the brand come out with an intensified version to suit more complexions. But if your skin is anywhere from fair to medium, I think you’ll really love the color.

Regardless of the blush color you’re wearing, you’ll want to keep the formula in mind. If you prefer matte makeup, or you have very oily skin, powder formulas are your best bet. The Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush in Fuchsia is a great option for a totally matte look, while the EM Cosmetics Heaven's Glow Radiant Veil Blush in Venetian Rose is perfect if you prefer powder products but want a bit of radiance. If you have dry skin or you favor a dewy look, go for a creamy formula, like the Make Beauty Heat Stroke Dewy Gel Cheek Tint in Stimulated or the Melt Cosmetics Cream Blush Light in Pinched. Shade The best powder blush for tan skin in Charlotte’s iconic line-up of Cheek to Chic blushes is her reddish-brown shade, The Climax. The swish-and-pop formula includes a medium brown and red-pink that are perfect for swirling together to create a warm blush look that perfectly complements the natural warmth of a tanned complexion. Ecstasy, a pretty peach, and Sex on Fire, a mood-setting pink, are Charlotte’s best Cheek to Chic powder blush shades for medium skin. If you prefer a warm-toned blush look, use Ecstasy to flush the cheeks with the perfect shade of peach, giving medium skin a glowing, sun-kissed look. Or, if you prefer a cool-toned blush on your medium skin tone, use Sex on Fire to give the cheeks a sultry wash of colour in a flattering tawny-rose hue. For a healthy, radiant glow no matter what time of the year it is, the best cream blushes are your best bet. Unlike most powders, these buttery formulas impart an unmistakable, radiant sheen to your skin that mimics the effects of, say, an hour-long jog on the beach or a luxurious facial. Because these particular blushes generally contain oils, they're comparatively more moisturizing than powder blushes (take note, dry skin types) and won't disturb dry spots or highlight textured areas of the skin. Charlotte’s Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Peach Pop is a peachy-nude blush that blends beautifully into a tan complexion. The warm, sun-kissed tones are complementary to olive skin, soaking the cheeks in vibrant colour with a dreamy, natural-matte finish. One dot of Charlotte’s silky liquid blush onto the apples of the cheeks gives skin a soft blush look and adding a second or third dot dials up the look for bolder, brighter, blushing cheeks!

In any case, you have here plenty of beautiful MAC blushes perfect for medium skin, brown skin and dark skin.
