Because of the air beam construction there’s no central pole holding it up, so the floor area inside is totally open with no obstructions at all, unlike traditional tipi tents. The tent is a fantastic buy, the only niggles (and they are minor) is that the guy ropes are a bit cheap (which are the same as the bell tents), for the price of the tent surely they could have put rope with wooden sliders on it like C&C do. The other one is that the mesh for the windows is on the cheap side as well. Then I fell in love with the Outwell Vermont XL. We asked about the L model, but I think the price difference dowsnt reflect the size difference and we may aswell pay the extra and get the larger one. But Im worried it would be TOO large. We firstly looked at a Sprayway, which fulfilled all the criteria, but after seeing the Outwell tents, the Sprayway just looked really shoddy and not very good quality. Even one of the sales advisors told us to stay clear of it.The vestibule area also has its own roll up zipped front door, so you can completely close the Lavvu when required. So in all, this tent has three sections to it, those being the vestibule, the inner living area and then the divided bedroom and if you want to add the space underneath the tarp, there are 4 sections in which to have a very versatile and enjoyable camping experience. Space: when you place 1 double bed then it also can place small table and still have plenty of room to move around and hang out in the tent! great for family camping, hunting, hiking, weekend camping trips, extended camping trips or remodel your house.
