Oh, Kirill! Straight away, you can tell Kirill means business. He's been hardened by the life he has been made to lead because of a love he'd do anything to protect, only to lose it anyway. Kirill and Molly met in HS and bonded at 16/17yrs old. They became BFF and fell in love hard. Something happens w her Dad and she asks Kirill for help. This had a lot of potential but the H was a moron so it really dulled the shine here. The H is hellbent on hating and taking his revenge on h based on a misunderstanding. Did your eyes roll involuntarily? Yeah, me too. EVERY situation between them is DRAGGED out to an extreme and once the situation is confronted they don’t communicate anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️😤 So I was super excited for this read. It was supposed to be an OTT JP super obsessed semi stalker read. And it definitely WAS all those things.

Fast forward to present time. Molly has been looking for Kirill. Kirill has been obsessively looking for Molly. They work together, whilst Kirill does everything he can to find his Molly. He eventually does and takes her home, her fighting the whole way. She can't get over everything that he's done. She's strong and fights him the whole time, whilst Kirill is his unapologetic self and does what he wants. It's not until they have a scare that she realises she can't live without him and she chooses to wait. This duet honestly had me in a chokehold, like I mean I started the first book this morning and at 23:36 I just finished the duet, like I could not put it down. She and I were the same, and we'd always be each other's exception to everything. There was no line I couldn't cross that Mallory wouldn't forgive me for one day because her soul had found its partner in mine.' Months pass and Kirill finally finds her and he's wanting her home and I mean he wants her home now! The man wants her as his wife and what Kirill wants he gets!!!!walking, and children were playing, somewhat dangerously, in the syringelittered sand of the beach. Tweakers and pimps wandered the boardwalk,

This was a really great conclusion to the duet. Mila Kane has managed to wrap up Kirill and Molly's story and still leave you wanting more. Thankfully we'll get more from the Chernov Bratva in the form of Niko. For someone I hated in the beginning she did an amazing job at turning that into a love-to-hate. Look forward to his and Sofia's story.When he finds her working as a bartender in a gentlemen's club, he becomes obsessed until he takes over her life. By the time she realized he was not the same boy she was in love with, a lot happened. What I liked about this book was the overall story, the history of the characters, chemistry, the mafia element, and the brothers' feud. I should have Loved this read. Instead I was beyond frustrated, confused about who they really were, upset and just overall annoyed. I stopped reading and starting skimming to finish this duet around the mid mark for book 1. To say I was super bummed ☹️ is an understatement.
