Description

Those who love dressing their dart guns up like barbie dolls, with attachments, of course, will love this. After putting many a round through this gun it is about average with its accuracy. The accuracy starts to fade outside 25 feet. The Nerf Halo MA40 is a motorized, clip-fed blaster that can fire 10 darts in a row from a 10-dart clip. Prime the blaster with the pump action Hold down the acceleration button to power up the blaster's motor, then press the trigger to fire 1 dart and press the trigger again to shoot another dart. The Nerf Halo MA40 can even be customized with Nerf accessories (not included) thanks to a rail riser that attaches to the blaster's tactical rail. Considered the gold standard of nerf guns, the Nerf Ultra One motorized blaster is among the most advanced nerf guns available, built for distance, speed and accuracy. The Ultra One boasts one of the farthest firing distances of any nerf gun – up to 120 feet – and it achieves this with the use of Nerf’s game-changing Nerf Ultra Darts, special projectiles which feature unique flight tips, Ultra foam and Aerofin technology. Well, we have already shared the magic of the Flipshots blasters with the Flip-32, and you’ll be pleased to know that the Flip-16 features the same innovative “Flip” technology, turning a simple 8-shot, front-loaded blaster into a concealed 16-dart powerhouse!

WARNING: Do not aim at eyes or face. Use of eyewear recommended for players and people within range. Use only official Nerf darts. Other darts may not meet safety standards. Do not modify darts or blaster. Overall its value is hard to beat, but it would be a bit more fun if it came with at least one attachment. Final Verdict The Flipshots sub-series features blasters that have a "flipping" mechanic that allows the user to switch between two sets of barrels of darts. There is currently only one version of the Nerf Elite 2.0 Commander. As this is a common gun, it can be found at most major retailers. The Commander averaged 76fps in my testing, with the included darts (enough to fire the blaster twice through!). Accuracy with Elite darts varies, but it is what it is. Rate of fire can easily reach four darts per second in fast hands, if slamfire is used. Of course, keep that for emergencies, as you only have six shots before you’re out.The Commander has a noticeably comfortable priming handle that is easy to hold and makes for a smooth slide.

The slam fire is my favorite part and, for some reason, it seems to make it perform better. This could be in my head, but I swear it’s an anomaly in that regard.Interestingly, despite being a follow-up to N-Strike Elite, the word "N-Strike" is not present in Elite 2.0's name.

Its name, “Commander,” implies the ability to adapt and demand respect in a Nerf battle, as it does. The ability to instantly reload your NERF gun would be scary on any blaster, but the NERF Flip-32 features four, eight-dart barrels, giving you a staggering 32-dart capacity before you even have to reload! The barrels are front-loaded, so it’s worth taking a little preparation time before any fight, as you don’t want to be in the middle of a blaster fight loading up. Featured in our list of best Nerf guns, this blaster comes highly recommended, but is it right for you? Fully load the 6-dart drum and keep 6 more darts nearby so you're ready for reloads. Fire, reload, and fire some more

Initial reception to Elite 2.0 was very mixed. While the inclusion of additional darts, an abundance of accessory attachment points, and the overall ergonomics of Elite 2.0 blasters have been praised, the changes to how the blasters are assembled have been highly criticized. Many of the first Elite 2.0 blasters were assembled in a way that makes modification and repairs difficult. While blasters are still held together by standard screws and/or pressure clips, as introduced in the Alpha Strike line of blasters, many others are also ultrasonically or solvent-welded together. The quality of the plastic used in production has also been called "thin", compared to previous or other releases, and some parts such as jam doors can be easily snapped off. Additionally, many of the metal springs in blasters have been replaced with plastic leaf springs, which are less strong and can break after long periods of time. The Commander includes twelve darts that have a bit of a different color design than the standard. Six are teal with orange tips, and the other six are orange with teal tips. This isn’t a huge deal, but using the different varieties can help your find your specific Nerf darts once the smoke of a battle clears. While firing the blaster at a normal angle, I measured an average range of 45-55 feet. When firing angled upwards, I got an average of 65-75 feet. The farthest dart went to 85 feet, which is still below the advertised 90. Reliability and Durability 8.5/10I think it is a solid gun that will hold up unless you are overly rough with it. Fun and Value: 9/10 The Airblitz action is fun to use. Load up to 6 darts in the Airblitz barrel and prime the air tank by pumping the priming mechanism located at the bottom of the blaster. Once your tank is primed, there is a button on the side of the gun that releases 6 Elite darts at once—perfect for sending a message to your opponents or taking down multiple rivals with one shot. While firing this blaster, it didn’t strike me as inconsistent. Keep in mind it is hard to judge accuracy because a lot depends on how used or bent a dart is. Internals? It’s Elite 2.0, and I didn’t want to rip the blaster apart to the point where it’s unusable. It’s safe to assume, though, that the internals are similar to the Strongarm/Disruptor, but with the cost savings of plastic leaf springs and the like. Conclusion Fires the standard elite darts, of which 12 are included. These darts aren’t the standard dart color but rather have colors matching the gun.
