Personally, I’m way more excited about the Baby Owl than Hawkeye, mostly because I have so many Hawkeye minifigures from years of collecting LEGO Marvel sets! Here’s a comparison with an adult LEGO owl. The Baby Owl is a nice surprise and it’s great to see LEGO still using the Collectible LEGO Minifigures series to introduce new animal moulds. All in all, Goliath is a decent minifigure, but it feels quite out of place in this series, especially with Season 2’s release date up in the air, and only likely to arrive in 2024, making it quite hard to connect with Goliath.

I’m not particularly attached to the Werewolf by Night series, but quality-wise this is a pretty good minifigure, even if its a little boring and formulaic. But hey, with Halloween approaching, it does make for a fun addition for those that like to collect Spooky-themed minifigures. Now all that’s done, let’s jump straight into the LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 review! 1. Agatha HarknessJoining Hawkeye is also Hawkeye, also known as Kate Bishop who is played by Hailee Steinfeld in the Disney+ series. It’s a superb minifigure and also one that fans of the MCU will welcome given the fairly positive reception to the series. That said, the new She-Hulk is a superb LEGO minifigure and one of the standouts of Series 2. I imagine she’ll be a fairly popular minifigure from this series. One of the Diseny+ projects I’m personally most excited about is X-Men ’97, a sequel series to the animated show that ran from 1992-1996. And my absolute favorite minifigures in this series are the three hailing from that show. Starting with Storm, aka Ororo Munroe, the weather controlling mutant and sometimes leader of the X-Men. Storm appears in her Jim Lee designed white costume. Other than the X-Symbols and the yellow striping, this look doesn’t require a lot of printing but, like Mr. Knight, the legs do contain some minor lines. The costume is topped off perfectly with pointed shoulder pads and Storm’s trademark cape designed to allow her to ride the wind currents that are under her control. Aleta Ogord | Charlie-27 | Cosmo the Space-Dog | Kraglin Obfonteri | Major Vance Astro | Martinex | Moondragon | Nikki | Starhawk

His Civil War variant reuses Captain America's head from the same movie while the Quantum Realm variant reused the head from Han Solo's Solo variant. Joining Moon Knight is Mr. Knight, another one of Marc Spector’s alter-egos. Eschewing Egyptian mummy garb for a more distinguished 3-piece suit, Mr. Knight is a more cerebral and levelled alter-egos and is dressed accordingly with a white mask, and sharp suit, all in monochrome white. This is the second LEGO Marvel minifigures series and a sequel to Marvel Series 1 which released in 2021. The She-Hulk minifigure was only ever released once in 76078 Hulk vs. Red Hulk from 2017, and it’s been one of the rarer and more expensive characters on the aftermarket, but now this re-issue should enable fans to not have to overspend to get her.Marvel Minifigures Series 2 will release on 1 September (October in ANZ), and will feature 12 all-new characters inspired by Marvel Studios TV shows, from Hawkeye to She-Hulk to Moon Knight and the upcoming X-Men 97 series. Agent Sitwell | Arnim Zola | Bowman | Doctor List | Grant Ward | Hammer | Militant | Tactical Force | Viper Here’s Moon Knight and Mr. Knight together and they look great as a pair. I do think iy would’ve been way better if we had Scarlet Scarab included as well with how prominent she was in the TV series, and how cool her character design is. The cape looks great, and so is her brand new wig, which has her hair styled up as a mohawk, which looks fantastic and contrasts very nicely against her darker complexion. Moon Knight comes with two accessories, a pair of Scarabs and his signature Crescent Blades, but pay special attention to the arm and leg printing which looks gorgeous, with sharp lines and detail across every minifigure surface that LEGO can print on.

Blob | Cyber | Dark Phoenix | Emma Frost | Juggernaut | Lady Deathstrike | Magneto Acolyte | Mastermind | Mini Sentinel | Mystique | Omega Red | Pyro | Sabretooth | Silver Samurai | ToadThe print quality on her minifigure is on the same level as Moon Knight, with LEGO utilising nearly every single available surface. Here’s a look at the new boxes, which come in a larger box. There are 2 levels with 2 rows each containing9 boxes in each row. What do you think of the LEGO Marvel Series 2? Will you be getting an entire set/box or hoping you get the minifigures you want by buying random boxes? Next, we have the long-awaited re-release of She-Hulk minifigure, based on her Disney+ series version where Tatiana Maslany plays the Hulk’s lawyer cousin, Jen Walters. Bill Foster does come with an Ant-Man statuette! The design of it is quite clever, as it functions both as Goliath being normal-sized and Ant-Man being tiny, or Goliath being supersized and Ant-Man being regular-sized.

LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 will have the unfortunate honour of being completely overshadowed by the transition from blind bags to blind boxes, effectively eliminating a tradition that has been in place since 2010. Marvel fans will love these 12 popular characters: Agatha Harkness, Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, She-Hulk, The Werewolf, Goliath, Storm, Beast, Wolverine and Echo. Every mystery bag contains 1 minifigure with at least 1 accessory. Set contains 36 mystery bags. Now that it’s out of the way, this is a pretty decent licensed Minifigures Series, with some questionable choices with the lineup of characters. It’s always a difficult balancing game when the IP holder, in this case, Marvel usually dictates what characters get included, and when many of the planned 2023 releases have been delayed like What If.. and Agatha: Coven of Chaos, it does mean that you’re left with some characters that feel out of place. If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that my positition on this has been clear, I do not support the switch to pure blind boxes, as it encourages gambling, and the uncertainty of what you will get, something that most people can’t afford to do. LEGO could’ve easily included some hidden code or symbol on each box to identify what’s inside, but their unwillingness to do so just reeks of not listening to longtime fans and punishing Minifigure fans. Also slightly miffed they didn’t include a tile for the photo frame so we could re-create the Sad Wolverine meme! Mr. Knight’s appearance isn’t as impressive as Moon Knight’s but more than meets the brief and is a nice companion to the vastly superior Moon Knight. Next up we have Echo, aka Maya Lopez, who featured in Hawkeye and will also have her own series on Disney+ in November 2023. Echo is one of the most impressive minifigures in this series with incredible detailing across her entire body.
