I think it’s pretty well made and it’s not an overly cumbersome item so it’s not going to take up loads of space, so for someone who’s limited on space like me… Marks and Spencer’s ‘golden egg’ is a replica of the iconic magical object found in the fourth film of the hit franchise - The Goblet of Fire - as fans will recognise it as the snitch that Harry had to retrieve during the Triwizard tournament. If you can't be with your loved ones this Easter but still want to send them some love, then its Easter Letterbox gift is perfect.

The large, heavy golden egg has to be collected by the Triwizard champions during the first task, and is the key to the second task. The catch at the top does not twist to reveal the three portions that open, to show the inner crystal bubbles that release a screeching sound and when you hold it underwater, plays the mermaid song… So I love the shiny, shiny gold of this egg – I mean I think I used to be a niffler because I’m kind of obsessed with foiling…When I had eaten enough, and probably more than enough, I simply closed up the tin and sealed it with a clasp. I felt very cool, so I can only imagine the excitement of a kid receiving this egg. The golden egg tin is a replica of an iconic magical object found in the fourth film of the hit franchise - The Goblet of Fire - as fans will recognise it as the egg that Harry had to retrieve during the Triwizard tournament. When opened underwater, with Harry's head submerged as well, the screeching sound made by the egg is revealed to be a song. A chorus of eerie voices sing to Harry from the open egg: It’s available to buy in M&S stores now but as of yet, hasn’t appeared online – so keep your eyes peeled.

With a flavourful white chocolate hollow egg featured in a hand-finished shimmer tin that features designs inspired by Hogwarts. Marks and Spencer has launched a new chocolate Easter egg and tin that is perfect for any fans of the beloved Harry Potter franchise.

This DIY Harry Potter Golden Egg is the most fun egg project I have ever made. It is the perfect new covert nerd decor for your home. Originally I was going to use it as Easter decor but I love it so much it is going to be out year-long. It’s also one of those items that like if you didn’t know, I like things that are like straight out of film, like if I could reach in the film and take it out and I have it, then this is one of them, so that’s one of the reasons why I did go for it… Next, carve the building in the picture above starting with the outline then moving onto the smaller details. So these photos I took at Warner Bros Studio Tour London, when they had the Goblet of Fire exhibition The only reason I can imagine, is just because of the sheer cost of production, I think it just would be very, very expensive and also probably the hinges of where it does open – would probably be very delicate, so probably prone to breakages…

Guess what! It is made with simple materials that come together to create a gorgeous piece of covert nerd decor for your home. Even better, it is a fun way to inject your nerd style into your Easter decor. It also has this cute little owl face at the top and the feather catches on the side. It does still have the trademark at the bottom, but fortunately that’s at the very bottom, so when displayed it does not show ‘made by Warner Bros’ on the side, taking you out of magic…To many shoppers’ amusement, it dropped an aubergine-shaped egg that made for a cheeky gift for a partner. Last year, M&S’s Harry Potter Easter egg collection went viral when it was confirmed that the high street retailer was releasing a white chocolate Hedwig. It has quite a bit of red and some turquoise details and does have this cool, complex design that’s etched onto it…
