If you are young enough to enjoy the inane action, you won’t want it to end. Accordingly, younger players will be happy to explore the hidden areas. Furthermore, there are plenty of macaroons to locate and loads of orbs to collect. Alongside this, the whole story can be enjoyed cooperatively in a local setting. Therefore, a parent and child can play together, or 2 siblings can help each other to defeatHawkMoth. This was a great approach that made this a fun, albeit problematic, family title. Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx is great for kids. Master Fu! Visit your friend and mentor Master Fu whose words of wisdom help you to learn new powers The platforming itself is actually serviceable. Whether you’re in charge of Ladybug or Cat Noir – you can switch between them on the fly – they’re smooth and responsive, each with a double-jump, making them swift and spritely when jumping from rooftop to rooftop. The level designs are passable too: they all take place in Paris, but different obstacles make each level feel unique. One will see the city littered with giant books to climb upon, for example. And another is music-themed, filled with giant instruments such as guitars and drums. Team Up! Experience the thrill of teamwork as you battle villains and de-evilize akumas together in local co-op.

[4] Graphically, I expect very little from this genre. Usually, the developers throw together some show-related scenes, while incorporating familiar characters and landmarks. Now, this may seem like a copout, because it normally is. Thankfully, though, Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx has a unique story, and many of the levels are surreal and unusual. This was great, as it kept things interesting, even though each chapter was painfully short. On top of this, I liked the stark imagery within the cutscenes and the vivid colour palette. Disappointingly, however, the game has a terrible frame rate and the action particularly stutters to a stop. This was noticeable during cutscenes and in the central hub. Yet, when fighting Weredad, it is beyond a joke. This was a terrible example of modern gaming and one that is unforgivable in 2022.

Come face to face with familiar villains Hawk Moth, Gamer, Weredad, and Mr. Pigeon, and some new enemies too! Paris needs a hero! Immerse yourself into the magical world of Miraculous and level up your superpowers as you embark on your biggest journey yet.One of Soundwave's lines, "It's all about that bass, kiddos", references the song "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor. In the German translation of the game, the word "Save", when saving the game files, got translated with the German word "Sparen", as in saving money for example, instead of the word "Speichern" which means to save a file. The word "Sparen" has nothing to do with saving files. p class="has-text-align-justify" style="font-size:14px">Miraculous: Rise of the Sphinx is a nice addition to the much-loved franchise, if you are a child. Consequently, it is aimed towards younger gamers, so it won't receive any major plaudits. However, my children enjoyed it, even if I found it to be flawed. With colourful graphics, interesting stage design, and the right blend of casual action, this will entertain the youngsters in your house.
