Description

Our Firmness Device provides a central rod which we apply weights to, on the bottom end there is a disc which pushes into the mattress. The top of this rod supports the weights and will sink according to the 'give' in a mattress. We measure from this point. We deliver to mainland UK. If you live in Wales, Scotland, the Highlands, Isle of Wight or a postcode more than 40 miles away one of our distribution centres, an additional one or two weeks delivery time may be required.

A pillow of two halves, the Pure pillow from Mammoth features cool Medical GradeTM foam on one side and deep, soft SkyFoamTM on the other, so no matter how you want to sleep, the Pure is tailored to you. Feather and down: This premium pillow type is unrivalled in the comfort stakes. To be classed as down, a pillow needs to be compiled of at least 70% down feathers, with the rest being made up of regular feathers. Down feathers are softer, retain heat better, and are not as sharp if they poke out of the pillow. They're expensive as they’re naturally soft, mouldable, airy and long-lasting. They’re not the best choice for those who require height (side sleepers) and they’ll flatten over time, needing occasional fluffing to regain shape. They’re not typically suitable for those with allergies, but anti-allergy options do exist. The Mammoth Pure Pillow is available in two depths. The shallower option is 14cm deep, and the deeper option is 18cm deep. This pillow also has two sides, offering different support levels. This Mammoth pillow is very popular and is made to the very highest standards, as are all Mammoth products. Mammoth remains the only bed maker to be endorsed by the NHS, thanks to the Medical Grade Foam you'll find within this pillow. To find the best pillow for side sleepers (and everyone else), our expert testers put the market-leading brands on trial. They enlisted a panel of testers, of all sleep styles, to judge each pillow according to its comfort, support, breathability and overall design. If you haven't tried sleeping on memory foam before, be sure to select a pillow that comes with a trial offer. That means yu can simply return or exchange it by the end of the trial period if it’s not for you. How we test memory foam pillowsThe comfort of a Mammoth mattress truly has to be tried to be believed. Proud to be the pioneers of innovation in the comfort industry, Mammoth carry out rigorous testing of all the materials they use. So, it’s no wonder that healthcare professional throughout the UK are recommending Mammoth Mattresses and Pillows to their patients. Now that you know what each pillow style does, think about the positions you tend to fall asleep and wake up in, as this will also help you find the right pillow for you. Here’s what you should be looking for, according to how you sleep.

Mammoth are the pioneers when producing Medical Grade™ foam. Creating a superior product, which provides optimal pressure relief to ease aches, pains and soreness. The crucial element of MemoryFoam is that it softens and moulds to the body shape. This ability allows for very accurate contoursupport and weight distribution. This ability makes Memory Foam a desirable material for mattresses. Some mattresses are completely Memory Foam, perhaps using different layers of various densities. Some mattresses use Memory Foam to compliment aSpring Unit. With so many pillows on the market, it can be hard to decipher which designs will work for you. Here’s our expert guide to the different styles you can buy.

Pillows

Put simply, Hypoallergenic materials do not cause the amount of irritation that non-hypoallergenic materials can.Hypoallergenic materials can still cause irritation in some cases, the chances of this are reduced greatly. People with severe allergies and asthma may still have problems with items called hypoallergenic, but the risk is greatly reduced. Mammoth formed an exclusive partnership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in 2015 and their NHS awards for innovation reflect their drive to create unrivalled sleep and rehabilitation products, reinforcing the manufacturers dedication to looking after the health and wellbeing of its customers. MyNextMattress is developing a new and unique solution to the Firmness scale accuracy. Not seen anywhere else in the World, wewill be measuring the Firmness of all our mattresses precisely and in detail. Not necessarily, no. Memory foam pillows are only better than other types of pillows if they meet your personal needs!
