The Wolf Cub Movement for training boys on Scout lines between the ages of eight and eleven has been under experiment for the past two years, and results have shown that possibilities, perhaps greater than those which we had originally anticipated, underlie it. On the 16th December 1916 the newly revamped Wolf Cubs were given a formal launch at Caxton Hall in London. The displays included gymnastics, first aid, signalling and knitting, an activity which contributed to a Cub attaining his War Service Badge. The Cubs had formally arrived! Whilst the above is not compulsory, it is hoped that all Scouters will want to become as proficient as possible and will undertake that training. We can all benefit from an exchange of ideas which is inevitably a product of such training.

In the description of uniform 'Scout Colours' refers to the traditional colours of Khaki, Blue, Green or Grey (with variation in shade allowed). Where options are provided, with the exception of Scouters the option chosen must be uniform within a Section.
