Finally, we're adding the option to fully turn off the need for Scientists in Sandbox Mode. With Scientists turned off, all tasks will simply complete as if a Scientist was assigned - from dinosaur creation to Research and Expeditions.

Play through key moments of your favourite films – with a twist. Experience ‘what-if’ scenarios from iconic Jurassic World and Jurassic Park films, each level set across eras and locations from all five movies. Dive into the Jurassic World franchise and see how events unfold when you take control.Learn what it takes to be a park management master in Campaign mode, a compelling, original narrative that puts you at the heart of the action following the earth-shattering events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Work alongside iconic characters from the films, including Dr. Ian Malcolm (voiced by Jeff Goldblum) and Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard), and lead the efforts to control, conserve, and contain wild dinosaurs now rampaging across the USA. We've also got a free update coming your way on 30 November! We have some incredibly exciting features coming in Update 8, which will be available to all players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Let's take a look at some of the highlights below. Prebuilt layouts Specify on the tool tip and info panel when it is just the power cable attached to a building that needs repairing At the very least, learning about dinosaurs improves your children's knowledge of world history. That knowledge can lead to a number of things, from a better understanding of the passage of time to writing exciting creative pieces about dinosaurs. The information is there for the kids to do whatever they want with it! What were dinosaurs? With Update 2 we're adding in over 40 new placeables for your parks, letting you further customise and add detail to your parks and facilities. Some of these new placeables are available in all eras, but some are restricted to specific eras. Players on PC and new-generation consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) are able to access all eras in Sandbox Mode and can mix and match decorations. You will also be able to individually place trees in your parks and facilities. The trees are unique to each environment and come in 4 different varieties: Large, Medium, Small and Bushy. With these individually placeable trees, and the new decorative placeables you'll have more control over how your parks and your enclosures look and feel, and we're looking forward to see how you use them in your parks!

These were just the highlights, and there are more details to come about Update 2 when we release the full patch notes on 8 March.Sandbox Mode can be further customised by adjusting Task Time Length in Sandbox Settings (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). This lets you change the amount of time it takes to complete timed tasks on the fly. You can also give yourself an even greater challenge with Jurassic level difficulty for Money and Appeal goals. Despite being covered in lethal-looking spikes, the Kentrosaurus is actually a docile herbivore that uses its beak to bite off plant material. One of the smallest species of stegosaur, the Kentrosaurus defends itself when threatened using long spikes on each shoulder and smaller spikes protruding from its hips and tail. Soon you will be able to experience and explore your parks like never before! Update 2 adds a First Person View option to all modes in Jurassic World Evolution 2. While playing you'll be able to access First Person View from a dedicated button in the Build Menu on the left side of your screen. Select it, then choose a starting position in your park, and you'll instantly be on ground level. You can move around any open areas of your parks, change your movement speed, and alternate your viewing height. There's even a light you can turn on when it gets dark! You can never have too many decorations in your Dinosaur Park! Customise your park using new bins, benches, plant pots and fountains, to name a few of the new additions. All building styles and eras will be able to use these new decorations to add that little extra to your parks. Capture Mode Changes Due to this possible interest in dinosaurs, kids may also learn more about the concept of evolution itself. Evolution, at it's core, is a simple concept, however presenting this concept in an interesting way by using dinosaurs as an example can make the learning process more exciting, and therefore more beneficial! This is because many of the most popular dinosaurs have very distinct evolutionary characteristics, making them easy-to-use examples of how evolution works!
