I cannot wait to read more from Karen Kingsbury. Her books have changed my life for the better. Each time I read one of her books I learn more and about God. I also learn more about myself. These initiatives follow on from the already well established school holiday soccer camps and children's football themed parties. Sometimes an attitude of forgiveness can change a person’s life. Explain how that happened in Tyler’s life. Tell of a time when an apology changed your life or the life of someone you know. One more strike. Tyler squinted at the catcher’s signals. The dance was as old as the game: catcher signaling the pitch, pitcher waiting for the right signal, the pitch he wanted to throw. The signal came.

Mary Catherine irritated me a little bit because she would not allow herself to fall in love, even though she did start to but kept telling herself not to, all because she has this heart condition. But in a way I kinda understood because she does not have a lot of time left and does not want to hurt the guy that she is falling in love with. Angels are always near—sending us wise guidance, offering us healing energy, protecting us or fighting our battles, and sometimes simply being present with us through life's ups and downs so we're never alone. As I explain in my book Angel Insights, we know angels are near because we sense their presence, hear their voices in our inner ear or thoughts, dream about them, receive signs and synchronicities from them, see images they place in our mind’s eye, and are gifted with angelic insight into complex situations where there is no logical basis for our understanding. At times people even get proof that angels are near in one of the most powerful ways of all—angels appear before humans in physical form.

Angels reach out into the Community

Satan spoke in Matthew 4:6, “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

How did Tyler’s miracle turn out differently from what he had hoped and expected? Talk about a time when you received a different result or answer than you had hoped or prayed for. Now, the angels in the title and who tie this whole series together are completely superfluous and occasionally annoying. The story would have flown much better without their presence and even the Christian elements would have been improved upon. As it is, all the "bad guys" are non-christian and all the people who help Tyler are devout, faithful and all that shit, except they wouldn't do anything unless the angels nudged them more or less subtly.

All we have is today.” (Kingsbury, pg.303) Tyler was on a quest for perfection from the time he boarded the bus for the minor leagues. How did that work out for Tyler? Feathers of any color are a beautiful reminder that your angels are near, loving and supporting you from behind the scenes. They are literally the messengers of God, and so an angelic being who is near you or who is watching over you with their awareness focused in your direction has a way of evoking a profound sense of emotional warmth, love, peace, and harmony. When you encounter this angel sign, you feel loved unconditionally, comforted and you feel in that moment at ease, and like all is well. You're able to see and remember good and beauty in the world.
