The art direction in this is not very good either, with many scenes feeling like a jerky car ride. You get random time skip scenes that are not portrayed well, then you get scenes where you can't tell if the characters are just cuddling all night long or actually doing the devils tango all night. I'm not saying things need to be explicitly shown, but other stories pan to a flower falling or something to inform the audience of what is about to or is happening. This story doesn't tell you anything. Her mother was widely known for her beauty. Even the aristocrats admired her blond hair and beautiful eyes. Two days ago, the owner who left her alone in the store returned shortly, accompanied by the feudal lord. The art style is fairly standard but in a good way, its above most other manhuas that either put too much detail or not enough. The story itself, while entertaining enough, is fairly predictable, you will be surprised very little. The characters can stand on their own well enough, most are very well developed and we get growth from alot of them. The pacing ranges from too fast to not fast enough, allot of chapters wind up discussing things that were already discussed and take too long doing it and they do it on mostly pointless things as to give the male lead more chances to flirt with the MC. The actual worldbuilding is limited as we only know of the other countries but only ever see one, in fact I think there’s only 5-7 locations in the whole story that they just alternate between expanding by about 2 more by chapter 90, but even then its really hard to tell where the characters are at any given point in most scenes. The art is good. It looks up to standards like most historical fantasy romance webtoons. If I had one thing to complain about, it's that I sometimes don't like the way they draw the eyelashes and fingers.

I told you my mother left this to me, telling me it was the only legacy left behind from my father!” Sir?” Blondina quietly called him, staring blankly at the closed door, but he was nowhere to be found. She was now left alone in the dark room with only the dim lights of the candle surrounding her. While his eyes remained set on her, his emotionless face soon put up a smile, then laughter. “I’m Trije Ryun Haverty Ates. I’m your father, and I’m the emperor of Ates Empire,” he replied while stroking Blondina’s hair. Fortunately, the storytelling is much better done in the novel, with the plot points better fleshed out and explained without feeling like an exposition dump. I suppose it's just the difference you'd typically expect from a novel's adaptation. My Gently Raised Beast, Volume 1 is another brilliantly-made manhwa adaptation from Ize Press, with some great comedic beats and a lovely, if somewhat generic, heroine. While the first volume isn’t a stunner in its own right, we think the series shows definite promise; if you already read widely in this genre, then My Gently Raised Beast will certainly find a good home on your shelves.

Then, Blondina meets Amon—a talking cat who can transform into a bedazzling young boy. Amon is a Divine Leopard, part of a race of fierce monsters that have long despised the royal family and humanity in general. Blessed with enhanced strength and power, even child leopards like Amon pose a significant threat—but Amon takes a shine to Blondina, and begins living with her. Despite his aloof personality, this little kitty brightens up Blondina’s world and gives her a much-needed ally. My Gently Raised Beast doesn’t have the most auspicious of starts; if you’ve read any shoujo or josei fantasy drama in the last few years, the opening beats will be awfully familiar. For the rest of the world: For most countries, we use DHL Worldwide Express or FedEx. The average transit time is 5-7 working days. Set in a dynasty plagued by strange, magical creatures, this is a Cinderella story unlike any you’ve ever read before. Blondina is beautiful and kind, but she wasn’t born into privilege. When her estranged father discovers that she is his daughter, he offers to move her into the royal palace—with strings attached. Her only consolation is Amon, a supernatural creature who has proved himself a faithful and trustworthy companion. Together, Blondina and Amon begin to challenge the age-old divide between humans and beasts.

The title is a bit deceiving. The "beast" ML isn't raised by the FL exactly like pet and master or someone eternally grateful to their saviour. Their relationship is more like companionship (friendship-ish, of course, it grows into romance later on) and I really like that dynamic. This was it. She finally decided to put her survival before a ring left behind by her father, who had done nothing but abandon her and her mother.

With the peace treaty between humans and leopards hanging by a thread, will their blossoming relationship change things for the better—or for the worse?AMON IS THE CUTEST AND ALWAYS WANTS TO PROTECT BRIDDY. He gets easily jealous and wants her whole attention. In this first volume, they're small and Briddy is like 11 and Amon is 9. But it seems there's gonna be a time skip in the next volume and they're gonna age (she is gonna be 20 and he's gonna be 18 I think!) which it's exciting because ahhhh I love time skips. Tears started to well up in her eyes when she finally caught her breath, but she kept the tears from dropping. This is nothing. I’ve gone through worse. She softly touched the ring in the pouch as she clenched her trembling lips tight. She knew it was the only legacy left by her mother, and she had promised to protect it until the very end. While the little girl’s nose was still running with blood, the voice felt particularly harsh today. She clenched her lips and wiped her nose with her already dirty sleeves.
