In 2020, Sauber Engineering unveiled a partnership with ABB to leverage e-mobility and carbon neutral development projects, underscoring the commitment to sustainability of the Sauber Group, of which Sauber Engineering is part. As part of the deal, ABB have installed a state-of-the-art EV Charging Station at Sauber Group’s headquarters in Hinwil, providing the latest in fast-charging battery technology to the growing number of electric vehicle users in the company. The charging station, which is also available to the public and therefore benefits the whole community, is powered by the photovoltaic field installed as early as 2012 over the Sauber headquarters’ parking lot – at the time, one of the largest in Switzerland. This sink is great as it is nice as deep and looks very stylish without costing the earth. Being square it takes up less space but is large enough for a washing up bowl to fit inside. The plug/trap mechanism works well. This sink is the perfect alternative to regular square and rectangular sinks. This new sink is great - the main bowl is really deep, so we can fit large oven trays in. It was easy to fit (the only hard bit was cutting a larger hole in the worktop, but that's my poor DIY skills with the jigsaw!). It's much more sturdy than the one we replaced and we love the square waste traps - much better than a regular plastic plug! We paired it with a Sauber pull-out tap, which is also great value. TBH, I'm not sure how they can do it for the price! Recently bought this beautiful sink unfortunately it was too big when it arrived I was really disappointed and worried about returning it. I need not have worried the after sales team were second to none so helpful and understanding would definitely recommend buying from this company The Sauber Group has implemented various measures to actively reduce its CO2 footprint and make its own energy consumption more efficient.
