Sometimes the packaging may have changed since the photo was taken, or the photography may be of a different size of the same product. These companies aren't stupid, these frangrances are multimillion dollar businesses and subjected to stringent quality testing and extremely precise material inspection and mixing standards. The dry down (vintage or current) is completely different… it somehow gets much better in projection and performance in the same way how Opium Pour Homme drys down. Dislike the guy now, still love this scent, and all the girls that smelt me whilst I used the fragrance LOVED this scent so much. I found out about this fragrance years ago by asking a guy knew what he was wearing - the one and only time I have ever asked a man about what fragrance they use.I think many people forget that fragrance is not just for yourself but also to please those around you. I've read that the first versions were like this, I can imagine that multiple reformulations just killed this scent for my taste.

It smells like absolute heaven and honestly you won't find anything else on the market that will be nearly as good as this.I compared it with Bleu Electrique and I initially preferred the OG, but now that I wore it a lot on last few days, the Bleu Electrique is better cause less sweet, more balanced. When the first sales start going good then the conversation continues “…well you know it’s just something I “composed” in one day while watching the six o’clock news but what the heck who cares people say it’s good so leave it as is and let’s make a fortune”. Two amazing fragrances and not redundant to own either but truly would have probably just stuck with DHI which I had first if I knew this prior. But this one just didn't work for me because of the caraway, even though it isn't the dominant note.

I got a good deal on a combo pack at macys and I was expecting the same performance but it was not the case. To me, if you can conjure imagery from a scent, then you have accomplished something unique and exceptional.The bottle I have was purchased around 2012, so I'm not sure what run or batch of the fragrance it is, but I get pretty good longevity out of it, maybe projecting for 4 or 5 hours and then it becomes a pleasant skin scent. If you want a perfume that bothers people in arms length distance then I suggest you stick to Versace Eros.
