Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable read but that said I found it confused in places causing me to track back pages to see if I missed something which was less than ideal. Such a successful loving caring person who you would never think had doubts snd who is so stunningly clever, I would never be able to reach his heights, and was admired and loved before, but now is even more admired and loved and adored, having laid bare his soul and own insecurities. I console myself with this beautiful book knowing that when the time comes I will break inside but be happy for the life that I got to share with my Boo-boo. I also think you need to know Noel's life story in more detail to understand the things he references. It really shows that animals are more than just pets but are greatest companions in life and I think Noel demonstrates that perfectly.
