Just purchase a reversing cam if you want/don't already have and all your new head unit needs will be fulfilled.

The RCD 310 has a Bluetooth on/off option in settings but my iphone music will not connect, does the stereo head unit need an additional Bluetooth module for it to pair with devices or am I missing something? In the settings I can see a Bluetooth option but I don't believe there's a Bluetooth adapter installed. The point i'm making is that you can spend a lot f money getting the parts you are after when it may be a win win to just get an aftermarket upgrade. in saying that i though i will then keep my RCD310 and try and connect something to get AUX function and add a bluetooth module as the RCD310 does have those setting available on the radio, is this possible to do without costing me the amount where i actually could have bought another unit with that already in and i don't want to go the aftermarket route, like the sony and jvc radios out there, want to keep it OEM look. Not compatible: radios with blue display lighting and manufacturer Bosch, since no CD changer controller was installed there.I initially positioned the magnets in the gaps between the three dials, and the clock hands wouldn't move :smt013 . I have a golf mk6 with factory fitted RCD310 and although it says you have Bluetooth option you need to know if cars comes with Bluetooth box its usually under passenger seat if you have box under passenger seat you may have chance of Bluetooth music from mob to car stereo. Its easy just take out the stereo unit, be careful not to set off the airbag light or it will need resetting. Just make sure you get one that has the can bus feature so that you can have the steering controls and dashboard info maintained.

High quality: The connector can ensure better contact, reduce signal loss and noise, and ensure perfect music transmission and clear sound quality. Both are easy to fit, the hardest part is running the microphone from the BT module to the location above the rear view mirror. I found a Bluetooth adapter online and would like to confirm if anyone here knows if it will enable Bluetooth audio playback, telephony and voice control via the existing hands-free steering controls? Recently bough a 2009 Passat Highline DSG and love it apart from the standard RCD310 stereo has no USB reader or Bluetooth connectivity. All content is viewed and used by you at your own risk and we do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any of the information.

The unit works well at low volume but there is a bit of interference at high volumes between track that are playing. I have seen some folks do a RCD-310 with 9w7, but there are still limitations regarding functionality. Plug and play: This car Bluetooth audio adapter adopts a plug and play design, easy to operate and use, and bring you a lot of convenience. The car audio stereo system connects directly to your factory radio, so you can use your phone to listen and play music in your handsfree way while safely driving.
