It reminded me of watching Dora when I was younger, how I’d cheer on characters with her, or count to accomplish a mission. My first impression was of the bright and beautiful neon Leon finding a welcoming place in the world with a ton of fun reader interaction. Neon Leon played with his band in Sweden and sometimes in New York as solo artists, played in London and was on tour with bands as Hanoi Rocks, The Lords of the New Church and Johnny Thunders. Children who enjoy a bit of action while reading will enjoy following along with the commands in the story (telling Leon what color he should turn next, etc. Therefore, in the yellow desert, where the chameleons blend in to be yellow too, Leon’s orange and stands out!

Very bright and colourful, this is a great interactive picture book that encourages it's readers to count to ten, whisper, guess colours and spot the chameleons on each page. But sure enough, they both got together for an impossibly great recording of “Heart of Stone” included here that surely equals the classic rendition by The Pagans (that’s become the gold standard). Neon Leon" is a catchy, fun, original book that sadly was not well thought through as a children's story. You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods. He is stuck in a bright, neon orange skin that doesn’t camouflage well in the desert, in the jungle, or really anywhere at all.

Windows users should also consider upgrading to Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, or switching to Firefox or Chrome. However I have had to totally change the story to remove what are, in my view, quite damaging themes. The Neon Leon debut album was released in 1983 (funded by Mick Jagger) as a Swedish-only LP but featured Blondie’s Clem Burke as well as notorious KBD star Snuky Tate, and showcases a sold late 70’s Stones vibe perfectly ripe for radio consumption, in a better world, that is… fast forward to the 21st century and Leon still holds it down in Germany these days, still performs occasionally, and we’re extremely proud to finally get these 70s-80s era recordings back into circulation, so make sure to check out both of Neon Leon’s books (Fast Track to Hell and New York City Babylon) crank it up, and don’t ever look back! and Battersea Dogs and Cats Home (created by Random House Children's Books and published by Red Fox.For whatever reason Mum always drove Brett to the ambulance, otherwise they’d be permanently based on our front lawn. From time to time, we would like to keep you up to date with news about Beyond the Stork and special offers. Fast forward to Sid Vicious’ implication in Nancy Spungen’s death, and Leon’s alleged involvement with being the last witness of the couple at the Chelsea, and legend starts to build exponentially. Releasing three singles over the next few years on Scandinavian labels and touring as support for his old friend Johnny Thunders, Leon entered his next chapter, and continued to enjoy the success that was evading him back home in the States.

The books are wonderful, interactive in a variety of ways, are inclusive/diverse with a variety of subjects.

When we stopped, we looked at the color Leon had landed on and talked about whether he blended in or stood out. The other chameleons weren't very welcoming, and when he finally found happiness it was with a chameleon who looked exactly like him. Indeed, as I mentioned in my review of Leap Frog, they remind me of the classic pictures by Eric Carle in the internationally acclaimed The Very Hungry Caterpillar or, less well-known, The Bad-Tempered Ladybird. Remembering no real first aid, just the dozens of times Mum applied battlefield triage on Brett… I put my finger down Ben’s throat.

Contracts legal reasons forced Neon Leon to change name to Supasoca, now a group, and for several more hits before this band split up.After Jane moved with her family to the Netherlands (Koewacht), she began working part time as a librarian at the Antwerp International School. Jane Clarke (Author) Jane is the author of over 70 books for young children, including the award-winning Gilbert the Great series and Stuck in the Mud.
