Description

As long as it has a USB-A port, you should be able to use this headset (Just no Xboxes—Microsoft is still picky about what USB wireless headsets work with its consoles). The G535 Lightspeed’s connectivity is as easy as it could possibly be too, with a single USB-A dongle that instantly recognized the headset when plugged into my PC. These headphones are definitely up to delivering accurate sound reproduction that allows me to hear all the small in-game audio details clearly. The range is slightly underemphasized, so the upper harmonics of vocals and lead instruments are slightly veiled, while sibilants like hi-hats are a bit dull. Weighing in at just 236 grams, it’s incredibly light, with a soft, adjustable headband and memory foam earpads that moulds nicely around the ears.

I also enjoy the extra-soft memory foam ear cups that offer a nice sensory touch and keep my ears happy regardless of how long I have them on. Sessions that last longer than an hour are not only common when it comes to playing games, they're pretty much the norm. The group delay falls below the audibility threshold, resulting in tight bass and transparent treble reproduction.

While you can still receive audio while charging, they don't have an AUX port, so you can't use them passively. The rectangular-shaped ear cushions are large enough to fit most, but there are limitations to how much swivel action there is, and the headband height adjustment only has two modest settings. This is a shame because noise cancellation tech for microphones is becoming more and more common across various brands and headsets.

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

However, their non-detachable boom mic offers an only okay overall performance, and your voice lacks depth and body. We've added a small disclaimer to the App Support test which highlights some of the most commonly reported issues users online have encountered with Logitech's G HUB companion software. The Logitech G535 Lightspeed is compatible with PC and PlayStation 4 and 5, using a USB wireless receiver to bridge between headset and device.

Compared to their rivals such as the Razer Kraken V3, the Logitech G535 definitely boast a smaller sheet of features overall. This results in a super-comfortable unit, even if the clamping force around the headband is a little lighter than you might be used to. Matty Healy’s voice comes through clearly among all the instrumentation, and the bass line and percussion are still loud enough among everything else. In addition to the EQ stuff, you can also get info on current battery levels and even adjust some power management settings to prolong battery life. For gaming headsets, especially wireless ones (these tend to be heavier than wired options), factoring in the overall weight becomes a key part of the decision-making.It's far from high-quality and crystal-clear sound, but this isn't saying it's bad, it's just not the best compared to other headsets on the market. They also have an adjustable auto-off timer to help conserve battery life when you're not using them. The lightweight Logitech G535 Lightspeed is a masterclass in comfort and offers fantastic audio for a mid-range gaming headset.
