I had a couple of technical issues with the narrative at the beginning of the book, which felt a little repetitive as the plot and characters were starting to be identified and introduced, and Jenna's friend Casey refers to her students' book analysis of Dostoevsky as themes and I've never heard that before in that context, so I wasn't totally sure what exactly Casey meant.

Still haunted by his youngests son's abduction a few years back; Things take a turn for the worst, stumping investigators when their newest victim is found dismembered, Steven's need for this killer to be punished grows knowing himself how the parents of these teenage girls must feel, he puts everything into finding the sick person behind there brutal attacks, taunting the killer back via press conference, but at what cost? Jenna is Brad's teacher and brings his failing grades to the attention of is father, because it is so out of character for him. May contain moderate to high sexual tension which could include passionate clinches that end in cut scenes and/or extremely mild love scenes with virtually no details.Sparks fly, and before we know it Jenna and Steven are doing all kinds of ice cream related naughtiness. I'm on page 43 and I have rarely seen a book that starts as hot as this one end up at less that a five star read. She's fabulous with all of Stephen's boys, especially little Nicky who was still recovering from the trauma of being abducted just six months earlier ( Don't Tell).

At about the same time, Stephen's murder case heats up as more victims go missing, and it seems that the disappearances may be linked to Jenna's errant student. May contain mild to moderate sexual tension and/or possible implications of something more taking place off canvas, but nothing beyond kissing actually occurs within the text. When the killer's murderous spree escalates, it becomes clear that the teenage cheerleaders he's lured from their homes and then killed and mutilated, have only been a warm up act for his ultimate performance, claiming Jenna Marshal as his next trophy. I think that in this one missed the feeling of danger, tension that we can feel in her later books as well as in the fist book of this series ''Don't tell''.I read them again and again, these are to replace the ones that have gone missing and/or now have loose pages. Jenna Marshall is having her own issues as she's failing the star quarterback, which gets him benched. Jenna is a wonderfully caring woman who is struggling emotionally as the second anniversary of her fiancé's death approaches. Special Agent, Neil, deserved the girl, not Thatcher, and Jenna should have stuck to her conclusion that Thatcher would always be suspicious of any man who so much as spoke to her.

Finding the murderer is his sole focus but it doesn't help that his teenage son, Brad, is behaving strangely. I would definitely read this novel again in the future and would recommend this to romantic suspense and suspense readers. These two are surrounded by secondary and ancillary characters that could be neighbors and friends, they're so realistic, and Steven's boys are particularly endearing - especially Matt. It is the second book in the series, and the hero, Steven Thatcher, also appeared in the previous novel,Don't Tell.Their situation turns even more dangerous when Jenna finds herself on the twisted path of the serial killer Steven is investigating.

It's her mindful attitude regarding Stephen's son, Brad that led to her meeting Stephen in the first place. The story of Special Agent Steven Thatcher, whom we met in the previous book, and Jenna Marshall, his eldest son's science teacher.
