Alex Bell, however, had managed to make this book unpredictable with a roller coaster of plot twists that kept me guessing until the very end. Now "Frozen Charlotte Dolls" is all what I google about, it turns out you can find a lot of creepy stories and articles about these dolls, no joke, I found it super interesting. Full of plot twists and turns and creepiness by the barrel full, if you like a read that will keep you guessing and get your heart racing - you've found it.

An isolated location shrouded in mist, a storm battered coastline, vengeful ghosts, a haunted school, weird children and creepy dolls, what more do you need!I don’t tend to read too many horror books, because I’m not a big fan of gore, but luckily this story is more creepy than gory and kind of straddles the horror/psychological thriller genres, so for those who aren’t that keen on horror, that’s not all this story is, it’s a light horror with a lot of mystery vibes really. Sophie arrives at the old Dunvegan School for girls that is now her uncle’s family home to spend the summer with her cousins. This is one of a series of books published under the ‘Red Eye’ banner from Little Tiger/Stripes Publishing and aimed at young adults. The mystery was also pretty engrossing, as I was wanting to find out what really happened to Rebecca the entire book. So, Sophie is going to visit and comfort her cousins, Cameron, Piper, and the weird little Lilias, (who has the most weird obsession and fear of her bones!

Sophie is a stubborn one though, and she's somehow convinced that figuring out what's happening will help her figure out what happened to her best friend, Jay. I think I found out about this book from someone’s Halloween TBR and added it to my list as soon as they started talking about it and now this review has made me want to read it even more!Zoella Book Club pick Frozen Charlotte is a creepy and suspenseful horror story based in an old boarding school on the Isle of Skye.

It’s not something I’ve done myself – my to read pile (like its friend and rival the to watch pile) is too formidable as it stands.

The encounter leads Sophie wanting more answers and she thinks she may be able to get them by staying with her uncle, whose daughter Charlotte had died years before. To that end she eagerly started a Law Degree only to find it so boring that she was at a very real risk of going completely insane. Jay downloads this Oujia board app on his phone and they try to contact her dead cousin Rebecca, who Sophie tells him died suspiciously when she was seven. A fantastic read that I thoroughly enjoyed, and I would definitely recommend this to all readers looking for a good scare and a murder mystery!
