Description

It blends easily with essential oils and can also help to stabilize scents so it's a popular oil in the perfume industry. The disadvantage of PVP is that the film is a bit brittle and that PVP loves water (hygroscopic) that tends to destroy the film.

When you hear oatmeal, you probably think of breakfast, but the finely ground version of whole oat kernels, aka colloidal oatmeal, can do good things for your skin, especially if it's dry, itchy or prone to skin-rashes or eczema. It's still quite thin though - unlike a typical gel product, you can't really dab this on with your finger. And while I didn't review it last year either, the Nutriganics line also had a Bouncy Sleeping Mask too.But then again, as with the Youth Concentrate and the Youth Eye Concentrate, the Youth Cream isn't sold as an exfoliating product, but as a moisturizing product, so any exfoliation is just an extra plus. The entire Drops of Youth range, of which youth concentrate is one of the stars, is formulated around the same quad of ingredients and, as well as the serum, includes a foaming cleanser, toner, eye cream, moisturiser, night-time mask, sheet mask, reformulated liquid peel and the new bouncy jelly mist.

Interestingly, there's also a small amount of Salicylic Acid, a BHA, which I personally like in my skincare products as an exfoliatant and anti-acne ingredient. The humectants, emollients and alcohol create a product that is a lightweight moisturizing product for skin, for, while the film formers, polymers and silica are present to make the eye area appear better immediately upon application.

The rest of the ingredients include some emulsifiers (Betaine, Polysorbate 20), stabilizers (Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6), humectants (Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate), viscosity controlling ingredients (Xanthan Gum), pH adjusters (Citric Acid), and the like. Since there are quite a number of products to go through, this post is going to be a tad long, so buckle your seatbelts, and let's get starte! If you’re looking for a good eye serum to help hydrate the dry skin, or to prevent the signs of age from coming on, I’d recommend this as a good starter item. There’s one more surprise – we’ve redesigned the packaging so that it’s recyclable***, and it’s made with recycled glass too. The Drops of Youth Youth Concentrate is the product that reminded me of the Nutragenics Drops of Youth Concentrate from last year.

There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. While it's hard to tell, it could be indicative of a lower alcohol content, which means that given my preferences for less alcohol in my products, I definitely prefer the newer version. We love it for a mid-afternoon refresh, when our skin is starting to feel dry, though we find the spritz a little too heavy to apply directly to the face, and so prefer to spray it into our hands first. You can usually find it right in the very first spot of the ingredient list, meaning it’s the biggest thing out of all the stuff that makes up the product. Once inside the skin, it hydrates, but not from the outside - putting pure water on the skin (hello long baths! An emollient plant oil that is rich in nourishing and moisturizing fatty acid, oleic (75%) and also contains behenic acid (up to 8%) that makes moringa very stable and gives the oil a long shelf life.

The film formers and polymers sit nicely on the skin to improve appearance, while silica can help to diffuse the light around the eye area, and help to give a slight optical illusion that the eye around the skin looks smoother. In terms of decreasing the severity of the dark eye circles -I did see a slight difference, but ever, ever, ever so slight. After using this product religiously morning and night for a couple of weeks, I really do think it’s making a difference to my under eye area, it really helps to smooth my skin first thing in the morning before I apply my make-up and is a lovely cooling treat on my extra tired eyes last thing at night.

The packaging of the products in the Nutriganics line is slightly different - the "older" Bouncy Sleeping Mask, for example, has a white cap rather than a black one, while the Concentrate had a different lid and dropper.
