We've now bought our daughter a Panasonic which has 5-star reviews, and we've inherited the Kenwood. Having read all the reviews on the Kenwood 250 breadmaker I am beginning to wonder if we are all talking about the same machine. If they used stainless steel they wouldn't rot but then Kenwood wouldn't be able to sell so many replacement pans.

It has a viewing window and an internal oven light that makes it easy to keep an eye on baking progress. Having said that, it's easy enough to remove the blade once the last kneading cycle has taken place if you don't mind getting your hands "dirty".

Overall a nice little machine that makes nice bread that lasts around 3 days if put in a plastic bag, so well worth it.
