Both fragrances smell lovely the first couple of hours but can’t afford a weird smell afterwards in the office, so I`ll gift them. The whiskey, coffee, and cinnamon combo is very unique and smells so good together in Thai fragrance!

However, my wife seemed less pleased: "I definitely smell the coffee but I don't think I want that in my perfumes". The best way I can describe the coffee note is more like a pleasant coffee that has a burned scent mixed with candy - done in a clever way. However, when I tried it, all I could smell was coffee, and to be honest, the coffee scent was a little off. It's hailed as a great and affordable coffee scent, but it'd be best described as a coffee crisp bar coated in shower gel.I get a good longevity, about 5-6 hours on skin with good projection the first couple hours, not bad at all. I’d say if you enjoy the Born In Roma line, the Stronger With You line, or the Azzaro Wanted line, you will more than likely enjoy this one as well. As this dries down you smell more of the crushed coffee beans note which some may not like as it is bitter. I expected maybe a versace eros with stronger more mature vibe thanks to cardamom and coffe notes for which I was so hyped about. Top notes are Cardamom, Lavender and Lemon; middle notes are Coffee, Whiskey, Cinnamon, Leather and Mineral notes; base notes are Tonka Bean, Amber and Incense.

Presentation is quite basic but solid, I like the simplicity overall; the atomizer is also decent and sprays a good burst. The other one is still with me but I'm really thinking how to get rid of it because I'm not using this anymore. Along comes this affordable creation from a relatively-small house with almost no hype behind it and pulls the sword from the rock when much bigger competitors couldn't. Maybe it's just how it dries down on my skin, gonna let it macerate for a few months and try it a few more times later, but as of now just awful on me.If you take the coffee note away, you get a somewhat generic sweet tonka scent that you find in so many fragrances. A small tip if you can't: when you smell it, take a deep whiff and by the end of your whiff you will clearly smell the roasted coffee. In the background are notes of Tonka Bean, along with a sensual current of modern amber and an oriental and mysterious note of incense smoke.

I dont understand why some people doesnt pick the coffee scent, but its there and I can smell it clearly. As it ages the whiskey becomes a bit more noticeable while the coffee becomes slightly less intense, and the two notes meet in the middle in a very pleasant way. I smelled this fragrance today for the second time and I was confused if it was the same fragrance I’ve smelled in the past.It is confused in its own existance and I honestly do not know what to make of it as it lacks a defining character. The only thing really making this wearable right now is that I sprayed YSL Homme on my neck and HMX on my wrist.
