But now in my thirties, scents like this and Dunhill Century have drawn me in these days for everyday wear. Herrera I need an intense/eau de parfum version of this, not another summer/surf/on ice/whatever… version of 212.

I thoroughly enjoyed smelling this fragrance because it was pleasant from the opening to the drydown. First off, I feel the description of this is hilarious - it goes off on how "very masculine" thus is and how it's for a refined gentleman and so on.

I don't smell the Watermelon here as a individual note, but i do get that Peppery, citric muskiness that is very clean and airy and the pepper gives that bite that prevents it from becoming a bland white smell. It would be a direct competitor to Bleu De and Sauvage especially in it's older formulation when it was a lot more potent. The atomizer s not so good , some times works fine , but not as satisfying as any fragrance I had tested, Herrera for men has very good and much better atomizer for example, I don't like the cap either, it just cover the atomizer, but doesn't stick at its place , so you can't lift the bottle up . With some natural sweetness emanating from this fruit accord, spicy cinnamon and cardamom attempt to tame this rather sugary and emasculating opening.

Its spiciness is very subdued to the point that, in my opnion, this might as well, and maybe even more appropriately, be considered a woody aromatic scent. I take it in private just to feel better cause you have to feel better with this gem under your nose. If I spray from 4 to six sprays it became annoying and cloying for me ( I usually spray on each side of my neck, and 2 on my clothes) , if the Atomizer doesn't work right , I might spray again, which makes me ended with 2 sprays on each side of my neck . This fragrance has citrusy top notes of Sicilian bergamot, lemon, Italian mandarin, and fresh melon.
