I'm conscious that some readers, blowing into a paper bag in one hand and clutching a copy of Astral Weeks in the other, may think an album featuring 30 songs by different artists is cheating. The Special Editions series includes a wide range of Now anniversary collections, different music genres, eras, and decades, as well as commercial tie-ins with Smash Hits, Disney, Eurovision, HMV and the Official Chart Company. i have this on vinyl and on double cased cd but this one is missing 2 tracks is there a reason for these to be missing.

The frequency in which they were released also varied from year to year; initially, and most frequently across the series, there would be one Now Dance volume per year, but in 1994 for example, there were four volumes released, and in 1996, there weren't any Now Dance compilations released. Now Dance 92 (2 November 1992) Uniquely, 2-LP/2-MC/CD* with 12" mixes,*single CD with abridged tracklisting and 7" edits. July 2019) re-issued on 2-CD - 28 tracks with only Bob Marley and the Wailers and Gary Glitter missing.

And then one day, when I did look back in an Um Bongo advert-inspired state of confusion, it was this album that started to make sense of everything that had happened between the past and the present. Since the release of Now 102 in Easter 2019, the corresponding Now album from 100 volumes ago has been re-compiled and re-issued on 2-CD sets on the same day. November 2020) David Bowie, Patti Labelle and Michael McDonald, and the Real Roxanne are the tracks that are missing. When I listen to it now I'm relieved to know that, unlike the Um Bongo advert, it's all just as exciting and brilliant as it was over two decades ago.The answer is ‘yes’; the original 30-track compilation is now 28 tracks since Eddy Grant’s ‘Gimme Hope Jo’Anna’ and Whitesnake’s ‘Give Me All Your Love’ are both AWOL. All series with the exception of United Kingdom and the United States have been discontinued, New Zealand had two more albums released as a playlist only on Spotify, South Africa had three more albums released as a playlist on Spotify under DJ Kurtis. Vinyl in EXCELLENT condition, MINIMAL superficial surface marks and minor background noise in places.

They are also notable as being the first time a Now series had released a compilation of hits from the years 1980 to 1982. The first sixteen volumes were all released on the same date, with the final four being issued four months later. Nikki Tranter of PopMatters says, "Universal releasing no less than 11 editions indicates just how rapidly brand new hits become stale oldies. It also features enduring favourites from Sinead O'Connor, Billy Ocean and Billy Idol, and iconic pop classics from Vanessa Paradis, Bananarama, and a stunning performance of 'Candle In The Wind' from Elton John.

The series is then moved forward again, with the release of Now Yearbook 1992 in July 2023 (an Extra followed in August).
