The affidavit was mailed to me before Rosselli's name surfaced during the Senate's 1975 investigation of the C.

These connections would later cause New Orleans district attorney Jim Garrison to suspect that Thornley was one of the notorious Oswald doubles and a part of a JFK assassination plot. I had not seen Oswald in person, nor had I communicated with him in any other way, since June of 1959 - at the latest. to be interviewed for my book, although she did hook me up with a few other important players in the story, who I interviewed.I’m not a libertarian, but I have nothing against the other elements in that program, as long as they’re combined with an awareness of other urgent problems and of how most people want to live their lives. As the title suggests, The "Prankster and the Conspiracy" is primarily about the nexus between Thornley and the Kennedy assassination, and does not purport to be a full biography of Thornley the man. That an appendix of the Warren Report had to be devoted to speculation and rumors is in my mind argument enough that a good deal of fabrication and exaggeration was involved somewhere along the line. On Saturday, December 11, 1965, Kerry married Cara Leach at Wayfarers Chapel in Palos Verdes, California. There was a time when I seriously considered writing a book about his life, and I’m not sure that I won’t try it eventually.

FSoF Cabal's publishing division has published the "Evangelical" edition since 2009 ( ISBN 978-1-387-76266-8).While I have several connections to people who live in or originated in Russia, I unfortunately never learned the language. In the mid-1970s when I was in the private practice of law, Thornley sent a lengthy, almost biographical, 50-page affidavit to me describing, among other things, evidence he had encountered in New Orleans of "Nazi activity" in connection with President Kennedy's murder. If you have more than a passing interest in the works of Robert Anton Wilson, Discordianism, 60s counterculture or, of course the Kennedy assassination then this book is a must-read. A "Fifth Edition" consisting of a single Western Union telegram page filled with the letter M was published as an appendix to the Loompanics and SJ Games re-printings of the 4th Edition. For the next 30 years, Thornley traveled and lived all over the United States and was involved in a variety of activities, ranging from editing underground newspapers to attending graduate school.

It was written by Greg Hill ( Malaclypse the Younger) with Kerry Wendell Thornley (Lord Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst) and others. Western philosophy is traditionally concerned with contrasting one grid with another grid, and amending grids in hopes of finding a perfect one that will account for all reality and will, hence, (say unenlightened westerners) be true. A bit more seriously, I did meet Thornley when I was writing for a newspaper, but that’s a story to be told later…. Adam Gorightly, author of The Prankster and the Conspiracy about Kerry Thornley and the early Discordians, said the copy in the JFK collection was not a copy of the first edition but a later and altered version containing some of the original material. He doesn’t shy away from the less-comfortable aspects of Thornley’s personality and deals frankly with his later descent into paranoia. Two years later, when a Warren Report critic confronted me with the many discrepancies between the conclusions of the Warren Commission and the testimony and exhibits contained in the Twenty-six Volumes, I could no longer hide from myself the probability that either Oswald was innocent or he had not acted alone. I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the story but it has appeared on one of the JFK Forum's other than this one. Things like this had a way of irritating the military establishment usually personified by the Staff NCOs, and there were always people who delighted in baiting superiors with seemingly disrespectful remarks or an indifferent you don’t scare me type attitude. When asked how Kerry responded to the disclosure of his homosexuality, Stephens replied: As a good friend would: very tolerant. understand where you're coming from-the passage of time certainly clouds our memories, or distorts them.
