Description

The Artist12 Pro drawing tablet allows you to start broadcasting for distance education or web conferencing, entering an interactive classroom or meeting room anytime, anywhere. The XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro has a USB type-C port on it to connect to the combined USB/HDMI/power cable. Just like many other fully-laminated displays, due to the thinness of the glass, you can cause ripples on the screen to appear when pressing hard.

I almost gave up halfway through, but I tried a different program to see if the same issue persisted. With this bad accuracy issue, the Artist 12 Pro felt quite cumbersome to use for detail work and I believe this is an issue which absolutely needs to be fixed if XP-Pen wants this tablet to be considered a “Pro” tablet as its name would imply. The texture is on the smoother side, but it has enough texture to not feel too slippery to draw on, and it also does not compromise screen clarity at all. These shortcut keys also have anti-ghosting capabilities, meaning you can press multiple buttons at once and have them all work, the same way pressing multiple keys on a keyboard activates all of them at once. The tablet can be powered solely by the computer if your USB port can provide enough power, but if it can’t, the extra red USB type-A connector will need to be connected to another USB port on your computer, or a power outlet using the included power outlet to USB adapter.

I don’t really emphasize how the pen tilt is so bad because it’s still a “side” feature which isn’t necessary to draw in digital. inch portable Full HD display equipped with 88% NTSC color gamut and 178° viewing angle, makes it easy on the eyes and creates a distraction-free working environment.

When I've re-installed drivers sent by Support, the jitter disappears but at the expense of all pen pressure. Another reason is because the shortcut keys are simply not comfortable to use because of how they’re placed on the tablet. I believe this screen protector will last you quite a while considering mine has absolutely no scratches from my month of testing. But if there are any issues, you can try toggling Windows Ink, or the Wintab option within CSP settings/preferences. I would most certainly suggest consulting XP-Pen support about it with a video capturing it happening.

She said she had problems when navigating around the desktop and such, and I believe this can be somewhat attributed to the slightly higher than ideal IAF (Initial Activation Force) which I mention in my Drawing Tests section. Despite the minor parallax issues and somewhat inconsistent performance on different programs (who knows, maybe I was just unlucky with SketchBook), I still think you get the most bang for your buck with the Artist 12 Pro.The pen doesn’t have an eraser though compared to my Intuos Pro’s pen, that’s not really a big deal for me personally, as I’m more used to switching to the eraser using a shortcut key than to flip my pen.

An easily accessible brightness adjustment button, so you can easily adjust it to your preferred brightness for comfortable drawing. With the legs snapped into place, it is very sturdy and there is no fear of it collapsing under normal pressure. I will also recommend you check also the other different settings – side buttons of the pen, pressure sensitivity – before start working. The first benefit is increasing the stability of the pen nib in the pen, so the pen now makes less noise when drawing strokes and the pen nib wiggles less in the holder. That’s the one place where the XP-Pen tablets really lose out to Huion, but it’s not exactly a “vital” feature for drawing). Since then, I have found that I very very rarely use those functions, and have been able to reduce my “needed” shortcut keys to 9 buttons, or 8 buttons + 1 wheel.
