I tried this the other day and was actually quite disappointed I don’t know if it was perhaps the primer I used with it but I was so oily all day and I have the DRYEST skin. The lightening drops sounds interesting! I don’t isually wear foundation anymore but this wouldn’t be a great fit for me as my skin is more oily than anything, especially with make up on it but I’ve heard great things about the brands other products too! Not only a simple moisturizer but knows much more: keeps the skin lipids between our skin cells in a healthy (liquid crystal) state, protects against irritation, helps to restore barrier

In 18 skin-true shades, this ultra lightweight, water-based formula creates an undetectable finish on all skin tones. Use a few drops for a sheer wash of colour or layer up to build natural looking medium coverage. Features This was such a good review! I absolutely love Revolution products usually but I don’t think I’ll bother trying this foundation! Love how honest you were about the products! I’ve got the lightening drops from The Body Shop but if I ever need some more I’ll definitely try these as they seemed to work well for you and they’re much more affordable! When I tried this on one of my oilier days, I did find that it was clogging my pores ever so slightly. I’m not breakout prone so it didn’t develop further than that on me. If you do have oily skin and are prone to breakouts, this probably isn’t for you. Those with oily skin will definitely have to set this, while I didn’t have a problem with it fading or uneven wear, there was a definite transfer issue on my oiler days. I did mix it with a more matte foundation on a couple of occasions and it mixed and wore well on those days. This is a great post lovley! You were so imformative, I really want to try the lightening drops. I’ve also seen darkening ones which would be so useful for the summer when I get too dark for my foundations.

Pair with: Relove Blender Bestie & Relove Super HD Setting Powder for a smooth and even finish blended to perfection. Custom fit your base with Revolution PRO Foundation Mixers. The ultra lightweight, water-based formula mixes seamlessly with Revolution PRO Foundation Drops and most other foundations. Effective from as low as 3% with even more benefits for dry skin at higher concentrations up to 20-40% It’s a shame you wouldn’t want to get the foundation again, but I would love to try the lightening drops. I have always used The Body Shop lighting drops which are amazing, so it would be nice to try a new brand.

However, Colins argues that in the case of formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, formaldehyde is released slowly and the skin has probably not evolved to deal with that. The lingeringformaldehyde might be toxic tothe Langerhans Cells that are important for the skin's defense system. Another potential issue is that formaldehyde-releasers might also release other things while reacting with amino acids in the skin that is probably the explanation why some people are not allergic to formaldehyde but are allergic to formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. These are all theories, far from proven facts, but we feel that there are some justified reasons whyformaldehyde-releasing preservatives andDmdm Hydantoin count as controversial. Overall, I do like this product, although I am slightly annoyed that I needed to buy the lightening drops too. However, if your skin tone is slightly darker than Casper’s I think that this is a really great product for the price. Even though this doesn’t work well for the driest or oiliest of skins, I do think this works well for most skin types. As it mixes so well with other products, it could work well if you wanted to customise your own formula, especially for the price. Will I buy this again? Create a silky, breathable base with the Relove Super Serum Foundation. In 15 skin-true shades, this ultra-lightweight formula is stretchable and buildable. Infused with hyaluronic acid to help keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. Create a smooth dewy finish with just a few drops. A very common emollient that makes your skin feel nice and smooth. Comes from coconut oil and glycerin, it’s light-textured, clear, odorless and non-greasy. It's the yellow, solid stuff that you probably know from beeswax candles. It's a natural material produced by honey bees to build their honeycomb.

Cosmetic chemist, Colin wrote a great article about formaldehyde and DMDM Hydantoin. He writes that formaldehyde is the perfect example of " the dose makes the poison" principle. It's a natural stuff that can also be found in fresh fruits and vegetables, and eating it in tiny amounts is totally ok. However, in larger amounts ( according to Wikipedia30 mL of a solution containing 37% formaldehyde) it's deadly. I can’t think of another foundation which I could compare this to, but it’s one of the best drugstore foundations I’ve tried. I have a feeling Revolution Pro have tried to ‘dupe’ the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops but I’ve never tried them so I don’t know how they compare. In 18 skin-true shades, this ultra-lightweight, water-based formula creates an undetectable finish on all skin tones. Use a few drops for a sheer wash of colour or layer up to build natural looking medium coverage. The amount offormaldehyde used in cosmetics either neat or throughformaldehyde-releasing preservatives is tiny. Probably that is why the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Broad concluded both in 1988 and in 2008 that DMDM Hydantoin is " safe as used in cosmetics".
