Description

The hero slept with many women, also taken women šŸ™„, (whom he treated badly) and based on the fact, that heroine's husband repeatedly cheated on the heroine, that her father (a priest) cheated on his wife/h's mother, hero's involvement with taken women was weird for me. They spoke about his manwhorishness, but elegantly dropped this topic - of course, why to dwell on a 'normal' male behaviour?!? A damaged broken good-looking man always gets a free pass!! How could I doubt it?! I liked that this author touched on so many different emotions in this story. We were heartbroken for numerous things, saddened by the worse timing, and at times, we were enraged by the betrayals that we felt were not justified. Everything that Brittany wanted us to feel, we felt it and even though I hated certain characters and the situations the good ones were put in, I still respected what was done. Brittainy C. Cherry se consagra como una de mis autoras de romĆ”ntica favoritas šŸ˜ Os juro que he amado cada palabra del libro, aunque es a algo que ya me tiene acostumbrada esta autora.

With just reading the prologue I knew that I would be taken on an emotional rollercoaster. It was everything I was hoping for and more. After reading Disgrace by Brittainy Cherry my heart is bruised but is on the mend! Wow! Stories like this are the reason I read. The stories that take hold of my heart and do not let go. From the very first words my heart was shredded and completely invested. Brittiany definetly knows how to write broken people.... How can you not love a Brittainy C. Cherry book? She spins a tale that is so in depth and full of emotion that it grips you hard and doesn't let go and this one is no exception. Their story is messy and ugly, and there are parts of the story that are just plain painful to read.

Brittainy C Cherry has solidified her mark in the literary world with her timeless words and effortless storytelling. I donā€™t even think she knows how much her words alone has touched so many of her readers and how much they mean to us. My emotions were all over the place, one minute I was smiling, the next I wanted to jump into the book and punch the townsfolk. When a book can bring that out that many feelings in me, I know Iā€™m on to a winner.

Disgrace touches so many emotions and it's a story that I would recommend over and over again. The characters in this story with either pull at your heartstrings or have you pulling your hair out. I loved how they opened up for each other. They started to develope a friendship. They were perfect for each other, because they undersood the other. I loved to read how their relationship developed. While they found each other, they found themselves too.Schooled to be a perfect lady, Programmed to behave like a Stepford wife, as she and her sister Judy have to hide their ambitions, thoughts, emotions and opinions to themselves and trim their personalities to fit into the "Pastor's Family" expected framework. They found each other, first it was supposed to be a fling, it was just sex and lust between them, but later everything changed. They called me junkie because I used to use drugs. They called me a drunk because my father was one. They called me white trash because it was the only clever title they could come up with. What a powerful, emotionally stunning story! Gah, you guys! With every book Brittainy C. Cherry releases I think ā€œthatā€™s it, thereā€™s no way sheā€™ll ever be topping thatā€ ā€“ but every time she prove me wrong. Every time she puts me through the emotional wringer, has me devastated and sobbing ā€“ and crying for joy and happiness. DISGRACE way true perfection. There is not one single thing I didnā€™t like ā€“ well, a couple of characters aside, ugh! Overall, it is a good book but it definitely could have been better. The fi

Safety: This one is probably either Safe with exception or Not Safe for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences. But there was so much more than just anger because I felt all their pain, loss, helplessness but also their love and passion. The characters went through a very tough part of their lives where they felt lost and didn't know how to be themselves and I was captured by the intensity of everything. There was so much prejudice, gossip, misjudging and hurting in this story but also a lot of positive energy and all those feelings were felt very strongly. Another beautiful, emotional, & heartbreaking book from Brittainy Cherry. Each and every book I have read by her has been nothing but perfect. She has a way of hooking me from the beginning to the end. I knew from just the blurb that this would be an emotional read and it sure was. Someday, somewhereā€”anywhere, unfailingly, youā€™ll find yourself, and that, and only that, can be the happiest or bitterest hour of your life.ā€ I donā€™t believe in you or your god, but I believe in her. No one has ever stood by my side in all my life except for her, so the least I can do is stand beside her in the same fashion. This family means more than words to her, so thatā€™s why Iā€™m here. For her and her alone.ā€On the other hand there's beautiful truths about kindred spirits finding solace together, healing their wounded hearts together The Mixtapeā€ is a stand alone novel which was released in the year 2021. Since Oliverā€™s twin brother died, he has been caught between finding himself and pleasing his fans. But it is Emery that finds him first. I would have given it 5 stars, if she did move on with her life after her summer fling with the 'hero'. And I liked her development, she gained strength and self-finding was a right thing, IMO! She's only here for the summer and still in love with her ex - maybe he can have a few nice months with her ....

I didnā€™t know how to cope. I didnā€™t know my worth. I didnā€™t know how to exist without him by my side. After all this poor heroine suffered (betrayal by her cheating husband, brainwashing by her parents, 7 miscarriages) I wished for a stronger man for her.

And also ... the whole town has something to say/gossip about every little thing in her life - the typical life of a pastor's daughter. Prepare yourself for an intriguing read that takes the reader through a painful and emotional journey of a moment in life that change the course of 2 families. She was beautiful, that was a given, but she was also broken, just like me. My broken pieces stayed shattered, and hers intermixed with them. We were just two broken people, uninterested in being fixed. First off how could it not be a 5 star read (for me) god the feels, those feels came at me out of no where, I could not stand her mother, my bloody blood boiled, and I hated how Grace was so weak at the age of 30 when it came to standing up to her, but then oh so slowly we saw Grace come into her own and it was such a beautiful thing to watch, she stole my heart, I wanted to jump in the book and high five her, she changed within a blink of an eye, from weak to such a strong female within her right. Everybody should read this! I'm not only saying it because I'm a fan, but it's got a whole lotta' moral lessons... This is hands-down, my most highlighted book as far as 2018 goes.
