Remaking these games from the ground up and trying to stick close to their originals was probably the worst decision I've ever heard of. There's an alternate universe where the Switch got normal ports of the PS2 titles, and everyone hated that at first, but then those versions ended up being the best of the bunch. Maybe if they can sort the framerate issues out a bit I'd be tempted if it shows up at a steep discount, though it is not especially compelling as it stands. CharlieGirl to be fair, those games you just described are basic ports, these new versions of GTA are running on a new engine with new assets and such.

Bought Vice City (my favourite one) on PS4 a couple years ago, and couldn't play it much further than the RC helicopter level due to the atrocious controls.

I'm not sure where you are but there's the Black Friday sale in Europe starting tomorrow (almost a guarantee in the US and other territories I'd say) and I'm sure there'll be some sort of Christmas / end of year / holidays sale in a few weeks. I did get used to the camera yesterday though playing the old gta 3 so as long as drive and reverse are triggers we good. It's a shame that they didn't respect the source material, and the historical significance of these iconic games. carlos82 Ah yes, releasing shoddy "remasters" of 15-20-year-old games for 60 dollars (with the PC version not even being playable) while cracking down on fan projects planning to do so anyway and removing the originals from sale cause reasons are totally unjustified reasons.
