Journal 3 brims with every page ever seen on the Gravity Falls show plus all-new pages with monsters and secrets, notes from Dipper and Mabel, and the Author’s full story. The first section - the Author's original notes - are enjoyable without any context, as well as Dipper and Mabel's additions that they make throughout the show's run, but after that, things kind of require the context of the show to be fully understood and appreciated. I would recommend that people first see the series though, as this one pretty much tells everything that happens in the show.You get to find out what dipper's real name is, what ford did while he was in the portal, and all sorts of other cool stuff that really makes having watched the show that much better. Best of all, legend has it that if you expose this book to a black light, brand-new secrets will be revealed! If you're seeing this message, that means you're one of the lucky few who managed to get your hands on a copy of Journal 3 Special Edition. Norman and I are going on a date at five o'clock, and I'm gonna be adorable, and he's gonna be dreamy. Of course, I am not the one to spoil anything, so you will just have to find out yourself what his name is.

It comes with a monocle so you can look closer than ever at the conspiracies inside, and each copy is signed by me. I won't deny that the finale episode didn't answer all my questions, but it was expecting that to happen. Admiring the illustrations and skimming through the journal took second and third place, respectfully, to reading and appreciating the life lessons embedded throughout the work.However, in the show, Fiddleford is stated to have founded the society after parting ways with Ford and after he erased his memory, basing the symbol on a crossed-out blueprint of the portal.
