The fuel filter is a canister type with a main fuel line 3/8 inch going to and from the filter located in the frame, Drivers side, Half way under the truck. I had to move the bends back an inch relative to the fitting that screws into the fuel filter, to accommodate the tool. Also, the O-rings are viton (at least they are brown and appear to be viton and not just Buna-N or Nitrile. The add doesn't say so in the description, but this "kit" includes a tubing connector to tie this in to your existing fuel line. These were kind of expensive, especially since you need two, but they fit correctly on my GM vehicle.There is a bump in the tubing that keeps the nut from sliding off, which is good, but it also prevented me from making bends near the fittings.

Working under the car and without an olive cutter/puller, I had to cut an extra inch or so off the fuel pipe to free the olive and the broken end of the nut so the replacement could be fitted. Despite the product image showing that the kit includes a tube bending spring, there was no spring in the kit. This kit provides the new compression fittings (to connect to the cut line) and the other end screws into your (separately purchased) new filter.

For my truck atleast, it was a quick replacement, simply loosening two worm drive clamps, sliding them over, removing the old line, cutting the replacement to size, and reinstalling!
