Out of all the books I have read, I would recommend this book to all 6th grade girls because Nikki is a 6th grader that is dealing with life just like us. The fourth letter asks what's in the cafeteria's meat loaf, and Nikki tries to explain it the best she can. I’m STILL pretty angry about MacKenzie locking us in that storage closet right before we were supposed to skate in the Holiday on Ice show! Nikki has to practice for a big fitness test in Spring and realizes all the exercises she was assigned to do, she was doing wrong.Several times in this book, Nikki initially discounts her friends’ assistance and then is pleasantly surprised by the help and support they offer. Mackenzie is furious when she isn't invited to Brandon's party but Nikki and her friends are invited. One of them is about ice cream being served before dinner and the other is about a bear being found in Nikki's room while looking like Nikki. I think anyone that likes a book with drama, romance, and quite a bit of comedy would enjoy this book.
