About this deal

The journey is a welcome addition and is really fun.... Until you have to play some football, I feel they have tried to hard on the journey and making the visuals look like sky sports. Doing that they forgot about the important bit.... The football. Do the players look better than they do in PES 17? No not even slightly, in FIFA they honestly look like clay models. The sweat and dirt effects and how the pitch rips up looks really good though.

a b c "Experience life the Premier League". EA Sports. Archived from the original on 28 March 2019 . Retrieved 13 June 2016. Speaking of Career, the managerial side of things has seen some slight alterations this year. For starters, you can now choose the look of your manager from a selection of preset models. Naturally, most of them look like grumpy older geezers, but it's a welcome addition nonetheless, and it means that you don't appear totally out of place next to existing Premier League coaches, who, by the way, are now fully modelled in-game. And yes, it goes without saying that a good number of them look like really creepy animatronic waxworks. Some familiar FIFA annoyances rear their ugly head again – notably the pesky referees. Penalties are given for the slightest touch in the box, and yellow (and red) cards are handed out seemingly for challenges that shouldn’t even warrant a stop in play. The first demo of the game came out on 13 September 2016. It included eleven teams: Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon, Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Gamba Osaka. At the most basic point, The Journey is simply a career mode with some fancy acting and a simple story. That’s far from a bad thing, though. The Journey is just one of the many modes in FIFA 17, but there hasn’t been that much added to the others. Ultimate Team is still as addictive as ever, and the career mode is fun if you have plenty of time to put into it. It sounds odd at first having a single-player campaign in a football game that isn’t completely about management, but it’s hardly something new. 2K has been at it for years with its MyCareer mode in the NBA series, with the mode becoming increasingly popular with each iteration. If you’re familiar with the slow pace, defensive focus and intricate button combos of FIFA 16, you’ll feel right at home with 17. If you’re coming from PES, then things might feel a bit complicated. In PES 2017, things happen naturally. The game cleverly knows if you’re trying to dink the ball over the top of defenders with the outside of your foot. In FIFA, you have to do all this for yourself. That’s particularly difficult given the ability of your AI opponents to retain possession for several minutes at a time thanks to changes to FIFA’s physics making it easier to shield the ball. When I earned a place as a regular starter, in the vast majority of games I’d have less than 40% possession; that makes it realistically tough to make a name for yourself in one sense, but even if you make the most of your few chances it’s still frustrating to see so little of the ball. It perhaps says something that you’re given the option to play as a team rather than just controlling Hunter – and after a few games playing that way I felt much more involved and less irritated by teammates’ errors. There’s nothing worse than being penalised for a ‘bad call for a pass’ when the pass itself was inaccurate.FIFA 17 Feature Set for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3". EA SPORTS. Archived from the original on 29 March 2018 . Retrieved 9 April 2018. FIFA 17 is a football simulation video game developed and published by Electronic Arts under the EA Sports label. It was released in September 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. This is the first FIFA game in the series to use the Frostbite game engine. [3] Borussia Dortmund player Marco Reus serves as the cover athlete on the game. [4] Gameplay [ edit ] FIFA 17 is another strong entry in the iconic series, and one that looks to lay the groundwork for future titles by switching to a new engine. The hyper-realistic graphics are great, with facial expressions finally helping players look more than mannequins.
