About this deal

Including a whole carnival of weird and wonderful technological enhancements, this immensely customisable box can be built in so many different ways that it would be almost impossible to list them all. Including some trusty Skitarii infantry led by a Tech-Priest Manipulus, there are four units with two build options each – Sicarians, Serberys cavalry, Ptreraxii jump infantry, and a choice of either an Ironstrider Ballistarius or a Sydonian Dragoon. The possibilities are endless. But I can tell you a way of saving even more money by purchasing these at 25% off the recommended retail price! Just visit SCN Hobby World and sign up to their mailing list for 25% off all GW products and 20% Warlord Games products. There’s nothing worse than being woken up from your nap aeons earlier than planned, which is a fact of (synthetic) life for Necrons across the galaxy. This Battleforce is especially cranky about it, and wants to put its opponents to bed with esoteric guns wielded by Lokhust Heavy Destroyers and Canoptek Doomstalkers, and the razor-sharp claws of the Ophydian Destroyers and Flayed Ones. A Psychomancer cryptek leads the force, with a unit of 10 Necron Warriors and three Scarab Swarms making up the durable centre. The real killing work falls to a Lokhust Heavy Destroyer, three Ophydian Destroyers, five Flayed Ones, and two huge Canoptek Doomstalkers. Many of these units recently received the CORE keyword as part of the Balance Dataslate , and enjoy a new lease of life**.

The Warhammer Vault is also getting spooky as the lore from Malign Portents is conjured into digital format, alongside White Dwarf 467, from August this year which goes deep on the design of Dominion, as well as rules for frostbitten battles between Hive Fleet Leviathan and the Dark Krakens in Flashpoint Octarius. The real shame of this box is that Sisters tanks just don’t see much play. While Exorcists were a mainstay of Sisters armies prior to their 2021 codex, modern competitive forces rely much more on foot-slogging lists, potentially with the support of a rhino or two. That said, Immolators do see some use in good lists here and there – most recently at the North and South GT in a top 4 list, where taking 1-2 can give you a tough, mobile source of multi-melta shots, and a recent September GT-winning list featured an Exorcist, and neither are bad units. Beyond that, the Sacresants and battle sisters are must-haves in every Adepta Sororitas army and the Dogmata shows up in most, making this a box that’s great for new players and potentially still a good value for players looking to add to their army who don’t mind adding a couple of tanks. Final Verdict: Good Value Not content with a simple party, the Soulblight Gravelords are bringing enough bodies to make a holiday parade! Join in with their festive moaning and groaning. It’s not like they’ll give you a choice. YOur cavalcade comprises the following; It can’t be all joy at the holiday. Not when the Ossiarch Bonereapers are here to take and take and take…. Let’s see who’s going to spoil the fun;

Dakkajet (puede montarse también como Zuperreaktor Tuneao, Kazabombardero o Kemabombardero / Wazbom Blastajet, Blitza-Bommer, o Burna-Bomme) From one group of self-involved egotists to another, it’s the pointy-helmed Aelves of Hysh. This insufferably well-oiled Vanari Shining Host focuses on the Tyrionic half of the Realm-lords’ martial forces, bringing 23 models of archers, spearmen, and cavalry to bear with gleaming precision. The main event next week is Battleforces, massive boxes containing a wealth of units for a faction. They’re the ideal place to start a new army for the new year , or to expand an existing force. There are 10 boxes (count ‘em) split between Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. First up, everyone’s favourite grim future gets six boxes.

If you like eccentric mechanical limbs, gosh does the Adeptus Mechanicus have a treat for you with not one or two, but 15 weird and wonderful modes of ambulation or flight! There’s also a unit of Skitarii and a powerful Tech-priest to lead this gaggle of whirring, clunking, zapping warriors. The Orks are the most relentlessly warlike alien race in the galaxy. They are also one of the most numerous and widespread. Always utterly anarchic, the Orks are an omnipresent threat to every race they encounter. Do you like Intercessors? Good, then this box is for you. 25 of the 29 models in this battleforce are some flavor of Intercessor, whether your preference be assault, chunky, or vanilla. Rounding out the box are three Bladeguard Veterans, the least interesting Primaris Captain, and a Storm Speeder for folks who are curious about how long a T6 flyer with no invulnerable save will survive. The box is okay. Not great, not terrible. Existing Space Marine players likely already have more than enough Intercessors, but it’s a perfectly legitimate Patrol for the Astartes curious. At least for me it would have been more appealing had the box gone all-in on being a big boy heavy force, perhaps with Eradicators, more Heavy Intercessors, and the original boltstorm gauntlet Gravis Captain. As it stands I recommend looking instead at the various Combat Patrol boxes, which are close to the same value and contain much more interesting units. Final Verdict: Skip It

Happy Hunting

In this box, a Captain and his entourage of Bladeguard Veterans lead a balanced heavy infantry force of 10 Intercessors, 10 Assault Intercessors, and five Heavy Intercessors. Meanwhile, a fast and agile Storm Speeder Hailstrike is perfect for flanking enemy forces, or taking down hard targets when built either as the Hammerstrike or Thunderstrike variant. The Orks are here for a holiday party. If you don’t have the right brand of fungus beer though you might get krumped. Even if you do they’ll probably krump you for the fun of it anyway. Who’s coming to the party?
